Is there a specific position (LB? CB? RB?). I'm a bit skeptical that he plays CB considering his height.

In jest, I was saying him to step in for these two months. Kimura will make the decision which defender will step in.

damn... ive always ben a big fan of matsu..
    hope he recovers well!

anyway... will marinos surprise me (positively)?
somehow i cant understand the clubs policy
of letting good players go and not getting new ones...
im not sure if shunsuke's coming will catapult
marinos into the top 5... and i still am more than skeptical
    about bastianini...
dont take me wrong.. im not saying everything is bad n stuff...
and i really want to see marinos back in the top pack...
but right now i just see them around 8th~10th again...

btw.. did they run out of cash?

Maaaaan, those mofos have been broke since, well, probably when Ghosn took over the car company. Now granted, yes, the two are "seperate LLCs", but still...............

Why are you expecting Jeong to play CB?
Matsuda hasnt played in the back line for almost 2 years. The Marinos use him as the Defensive MF these days because Nakazawa and Kurihara have a lock on the CB positions.

I personally think that Ogura will get the call, but Jeong could certainly play that position.

Wow. Un-be-lievable. First game first loss. As much as that second half was owned by F-Marinos with possession, to give away a late goal like that after keeping a clean sheet is sad. Only the first game though.

Yamase's not injured again, is he?

Yamase is listed in the starting lineup. And btw, Yokohama playing the role like Chivas in Mexico with only native sons.

HT up 1-0. That save from Iikura late was needed after all that hard possession work in the first half. Overall, a good first half, but more goals are needed for personal secuirty.

"Mr. Marinos" looks like a professor at Ferris University with the buzz cut and those glasses.:p

Watanabe makes it 2-0 off the GK botch. F-Marinos are feeling it from the good Nakamura vibes. Starting to really boss the match.
