they should drag him off but I hope England keep Kane on the pitch.

he's goddamn useless but the opportunity to tire him out before the season starts seems like a good idea to me.

as I type that he tries a volley from the edge of the pen, effs it up completely and falls on his arse.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

mind you, the corner flag was pretty worried there. :)

Another match where Kane was invisible and Sterling failed to show any end product. Rashford was also ineffective again. Two of England's best chances fell to Eric Dier today. Perhaps it's no surprise that Belgium won.

Disappointed that Trent didn’t get a chance to play today.

It’s also odd that Trippier was so injured that he forced his teammates to play with 10 men, and 3 days later he was ready to play in a meaningless game again.

The real pity is that in the last two matches, England had clear chances to score. A decent goalscorer would have converted them. For all the angst about lack of creativity, the incompetence in front of goal was just as big a cause for our failing at the crucial hurdle.

He hasn't scored in a coon's age. But I'm also talking about Harry Kane's being borderline rubbish in front if goal at key moments.

I'm about 10 minutes late starting this one. I had to decide who I dislike the least and went with France to win.
The Crosts have started their fouling game right off. Modric should get a yellow next time out. There's another foul worthy of a yellow. Rebic.
    That's their game!

And and there's the goal Owen Gole from a French FK off another cheap foul.

So far their fouling, crowding the Ref and diving isn't paying off.
Plenty of time left tho. As Lovren tries to give away a PK.

Got to be a PK for France s we go to TV.
Yes. Took his time but got it right. After the consultation with the whole Croat team.

    And it's 2-1 France.

Well - not to say that France was not the better team (although I actually liked the way Croatia attacked throughout the tournament)...but IMO - VAR ruined the final for Croatia...the "foul" on Griezman that led to the first goal was clearly not a foul, and then the PK, which was "debatable" turned the tide...did it hit his hand? - yes, was it in the penalty box? - yes, but it was hardly an intentional handball...

Anyway...when does the Premier League start?

    DAMMIT!!!
France was the luckier team today.
The first two goals really hurt - one from a free kick that was a clear Griezmann dive, the other off a weird handball PK.
After we went down 2-1, i was hoping the coach would've put Kovacic in the game to liven up the midfield and make some runs in the box. Apart from Kovacic and maybe Kramaric, we don't really haven anyone who can make a difference.
Rebic was a revelation to me - i wonder if some of the bigger teams will take a look at him now.
It seemed every French shot was a goal.
    This one hurts.
    HRVATSKA!!!

    Now, what's up with Liverpool?
