doesn't exist. I don't expect much to be posted here. is there any politician, or any significant political party that is fundamentally pacifist? that is fundamentally protectionist and defense-minded, rather than force-projection in nature? is anyone (regular people) even interested in waging a war on war? it's like guys and sex - approximately half of our brain is constantly preoccupied with sex. if that brain power could be redirected for other, more useful purposes, we probably would have cured cancer by now. similarly, a huge chunk of the federal budget is preoccupied with war and defense. can you imagine what we could do to solve social issues if the government either re-directed that money to solving social problems, or just let people keep it? anyone with me?
Based on the results of all our other wars against concepts, this would virtually guarantee endless war. I am surprised it has not already been brought up by the Heritage Foundation
