Exactly. Krugman wrote some articles about this some months back and also advanced the suggestion that most business people don't get this. They tend to see it like the US is a company so in order to reduce the deficit they need to sell more and cut costs Also they don't understand the impact of inwards investment into the US and relation to balance of payments 3. Trade deficit is flip side of capital inflows, which keep dollar relatively strong. And capital inflows probably driven by fundamentals— Paul Krugman (@paulkrugman) April 14, 2017
This is the part Trump clearly does not understand https://hbr.org/1996/01/a-country-is-not-a-company
Ugh...My bad. I should have linked the source at the bottom of the post but was ready to leave for work and the girlfriend wanted me to put the Netflix movie back in it's envelope so we could return it today in the mail. (Yes, we do the mail things - we get better section of latest releases that aren't available in streaming.) https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...rding-to-donald-trump/?utm_term=.1a3ac4d6ea88 5) Banking "Nobody knows banking better than I do" — February 2016
Trump thought he could be the Zlatan of politics. Just show up, little effort, no work and just keep banging in the goals. Except he's really the Edson Buddle of politics. Just show up, little effort, no work and no goals.
We've been through this before. Chicago pizza is nothing special. Chicago hot dogs are where it's at. The rest of you shouldn't even try doing hot dogs, ours are so much better. But the pizza ... whatever.
20committee and louisemensch They seem to have been right on a lot of stuff so far. BTW, one is conservative and the other is right of center so some of their posts may not agree with your viewpoint. I also follow Rick Wilson and have for the last couple of years. He is pretty funny, even if you don't agree with the politics. 1/ Let me help my pro-Trump friends contorting themselves with the "But Flynn was cleared by Obummer" nonsense.— Rick Wilson (@TheRickWilson) April 28, 2017
This year's Ohio State, I'm not sure. I'm pretty shocked OSU made the playoff last year with the fewest returning starters in all of college football.
Not surprised you pick the only stat Meyer and Franklin share. Maybe you should point to Franklin losing three times as many games in his first year than Urban has in his 5? But hey, congrats in tying for the league once.
It was fun to see both Meyer and Saban get knocked down a peg or two by a man whose mother named him Dabo.
While Dabo is a stupid name, his birth name is William - Dabo is a nickname. I also doubt OSU fans or anyone else sees it as Meyer being taken down a peg - he's lost big games before (the SEC title game to Bama, for example). It hasn't exactly hurt OSU's recruiting.
Hot dogs are what you shove into yer maw on a road trip or at a ballgame. Pizza is life, dude. Great pizza - which too many Chicagoland mooks round here have never had - is transcendent.
Actually, she named him William Christopher; the nickname came from his infant brother's inability to pronounce "that boy." Or so I'm told. Sad.
