Why would you inflict that to yourself? I am reading some excerpts and reviews and it seems he is his usual unhinged, demented self. No surprise there. So much for his "presidential"speech the night before.

The funniest thing of the week might be that Mnuchin actually looked to see if the Gold was in Fort Knox. The first time a civilian has seen the gold since 1974 and only the third time ever the treasury secretary has ever seen it. The other two times were when it was completed and in 1974 with reporters to dispel rumors that Fort Knox was a myth.

Plus, the trip seems to have coincided with the totality of the eclipse.

Even with his wife's comments, the fact that this trip has flown under the radar is so funny. This is clown show funny.

I do wonder why Trump and Fox nearly always use "antifa" for the anti-fascists but use "black lives matter" instead of BLM.

 

I think he is more likely to go down with the ship while trying to do the right thing. Or, Trump gets rid of him because he is trying to keep things too disciplined.

 

The problem with a Trump speech, for supporters, is that he pads 10 great minutes worth of nasty and crazy with 50 minutes of rambling. They'll usually put up with the latter so as to get the former, but at the end of a long, hot day ... not so much.
