Haha, I was on that surface once and couldn’t believe how hard it was. That stadium was a travesty in all sorts of ways.

 

Same way with Legion Field in Birmingham. I marched on it once in HS, and when they were replacing the turf (for the same kind, just newer), and then all the Bama fans bought up the 1 sq. ft pieces because they had just won a natty, and wanted part of the reg season field as memorabilia.
