Good post. You were always my favorite son on the "Ponderosa" although I always felt sorry for the horse. :coffee:

I can buy weed in Sicily from an unattended machine, which means so can a 9 year old who swipes a 20 euro note from dad's wallet. He'll probably still grow up better than if he were American.

I almost forgot....just a little reminder. Just because you have cruise control doesn't mean you can leave the drivers seat to go back and brew some coffee. Trust me!

This is so sickening and repulsive......

Audio Contains Gruesome Details of Khashoggi Killing
New York Times: “His killers were waiting when Jamal Khashoggi walked into the Saudi consulate in Istanbul two weeks ago. They severed his fingers during an interrogation and later beheaded and dismembered him, according to details from audio recordings published in the Turkish news media on Wednesday.”

“It was all over within a few minutes, the recordings suggested.”

Trump won't condemn them as strongly as he does Democrats. Foreign Muslim murderers from dictatorships are bad, but not as bad as, say, Maxine Waters.

It was said upthread, but the Saudis want people to know they're doing this, and they want people to know that no one is going to stop them from continuing to do it. The only difference between these guys and ISIS is that the Saudis actually have a state they control.

    Unquestionably.

There's a lot of worse experiences a 9 year-old can have than getting a lungful of smoke and coughing it back out, never to try again for a decade.

And we want them to have American-made weapons.

The good thing is that if they are too big they still offer protection.

    Or so I've heard... :)

Yes, because they would never use them against us.

(I've never understood the logic of selling your weapons to other countries, who can then sell them to your enemy. I recognize money is all important to the politicians doing the selling, because neither they nor their children will actually fight in a war - they're too "important" for such a sacrifice. But seriously, let them make their own weapons and if they can't, then one less thing to worry about.)

It's a good thing that when we provided the Afghans with money and weapons with which to fight against the Russians back in the 80s that it never came back to haunt us.

Here's an article posted by Argentine Soccer Fan in the Khashoggi thread.

    https://www.spectator.co.uk/2018/10...udi-arabia-and-the-rise-of-the-mobster-state/

Worse, from the royals’ point of view, was that Khashoggi had dirt on Saudi links to al Qaeda before the 9/11 attacks. He had befriended Osama bin Laden in the 1980s and 1990s in Afghanistan and Sudan while championing his jihad against the Soviets in dispatches. At that same time, he was employed by the Saudi intelligence services to try to persuade bin Laden to make peace with the Saudi royal family. The result? Khashoggi was the only non-royal Saudi who had the beef on the royals’ intimate dealing with al Qaeda in the lead-up to the 9/11 attacks. That would have been crucial if he had escalated his campaign to undermine the crown prince.
    [/indenr]

Pretty much the whole world knows that the Saudis were connected heavily to 9/11. Khashoggi may have had information that would make it impossible even for TrumpCo to deny it.

    Thanks.

I thought the Saudi connection was extremely old news and that no one cared anymore - that was so 2001 and we already ruined Iraq to prove it. :ninja:

There is a reason why I used the word "If" at the very start of the part you quoted. The intent of that entire post was from the standpoint of the tribes being the ones to control membership and why, in the case of the PNW tribes, they prefer the current method over allowing DNA testing.. Not that DNA would be helpful in determining the precise tribe one's ancestor belong to. You might be able to narrow it down to a specific region of the country, but there are going to be a number of tribes in that area.. Particularly if you consider the number of tribes that were never officially recognized.

That barely qualifies as a question.

That is barely a collection of words, much less a coherent or cogent thought.

You are a better troll than that, little fishy.

It is hardly trolling when you laugh at an own goal. Since you have no sense of humor you should consider renting one.

I see. That was a joke by you and not an actual question.
How cute, little fishy was trying to make a funny.

This is what passes for "conservative humor."
    Got it.

I have to leave the "ignore" activated.
