I recall few lawns like that. Not a good look. Better to go with a rock garden and cactus.

What's the big deal? Do golfers get more injuries on turf?

There's an area in San Diego where a few of the "lawns" are concrete and painted green, as you get closer to Tijuana. I also found the use of obvious commercial/industrial land for residences a bit disturbing.

We're also draining the Ogallala Aquifer pretty rapidly in the plains, so that's another place for less water-intensive farming and ranching.

and since it doesn't really rain there you don't have to worry about runoff.

I did sustain a rotator cuff injury on a windmill hole once, but we were playing full contact miniature golf and I didn't get my shot off in time before a pretty solid hip check. The turf wasn't much of a factor, except for the usual putt-putt related abrasions.

Wow, couldn't just leave the acronyn NAFTA alone. USMCA? I see that Mexico gets screwed as there is only 1 letter in this acronym. USMECA sounds better to me.

It's fun to trade at the USMCA...

But the English golfers would say they're not proper and so they would feel bad about themselves.

If it's good enough for Veterans Stadium in Philly, it's good enough for Southern California...

I would rather be in Bakersfield than be in the Vet, and that's saying a lot.

But Trump likes that it starts with USMC.

"Cause he wants to build golf courses and hotels from the shores of Montezuma to the halls of Tripoli, y'know...

It doesn't sound like Brits or European golfers are having problems. Maybe the fake turf would change that ballance.

You always had a better chance of leaving Bakersfield alive than the Vet. Plus, both places were always the same temperature during the summer at 16,000 degrees.
