Phil Jones is the first Manchester United player to score an own goal during a Champions League match since... Phil Jones also did so back in November 2011 v Benfica.
I agree with this. City often cracks when put under pressure. https://www.unibet.co.uk/blog/footb...adership-1.1108079?mktid=52:5211000020:Copa90
Is anyone watching how terrible Everton is against City? Gifted them the goal. Can’t even explain the comedy of them trying to play from the back, Gomes misplacing all his passes, Zouma and Mina getting mauled. Of course they tried their hardest against us.
90% of Everton supporters (that's 3 of them) say that they could win but they're tanking the game. They're not going to "help" Liverpool at all.
Everton played okay. They actually had a decent amount of chances. They just conceded some really poor goals. On the first one, Mina had a bad giveaway. On the 2nd and 3rd they were undone by simple cross into the six yard box where Jesus and then Sterling were completely unmarked. Everton started 3 giant centerbacks and they are being beaten by headed goals from some of the shortest men on the pitch. This game is still more evidence that the best approach against City is to attack them. Everton had enough chances to get something from the game, and City’s goals came from poor defending rather than brilliant football.
to be fair I don’t think City was even trying that hard - evertons poor passing made it easy for city. I agree about the chances - but that’s Everton for you.
Well damn!!!! It looked for a while. (Like 90 minutes) that Spurs would drop 2 points. But nah. They scored and bagged all three.
yeah. to be fair - Hart saved a sure goal, son missed a sitter, and right before the goal - there was a goal line clearance. but I agree - it would have been nice for the unflushable tottenham turd to drop some points.
