Unlikely. And, to be fair, once the French clubs, PSG and Monaco, got a few millions thrown at them, the zeal in enforcing Platani's FFP, which seemed to have been designed as a pushback against the Premier League's attraction to foreign owners anyway, went.

Watching Cardiff City play Southampton is not exactly scintillating football.

And especially when Arteta brazenly wanted to have total control over transfers. Emery is doing very well.

42 points in 16 games is unbelievable form. Even the untouchable Manchester City can’t match it. If they are waiting for Liverpool to fall off the pace, they shouldn’t hold their breath. Despite our amazing results, Liverpool haven’t even played their best football yet. There is still another level we can take our performances to.

Son scores another cracker to put Spurs a goal up just on the half.

Yup totally agree. I was moaning on here a couple of weeks ago that if anyone other than Liverpool actually tried to play against them they'd have a better chance... and thankfully Chelsea stepped up and did that (unlike ManU or Tottenham).

I continue to believe that City are suspect at the back, and may have a hard time dealing with teams that force them to play for any amount of time in the transition and defense phases of the game. They spend too much of their time camped in their opponent's half dinking the ball around... and could well be out of sorts if forced into playing these other parts of the game.

Just settled in to watch the Bitters and Watford and realized I don't know any, or hardly any of their team or manager.
Does that make me a bad person.???

bitters take the lead through an obvious offside goal. Watford having most of the game since the goal. HT 1-0.

:) Then should I care. Nah!

Everton go ahead with help from the AR with a big offside miss.

Is it only us that get shit from the talking heads if we're 3 inches offside. When I've seen at least 3 worse over this weekend. You don't have to answer that.

Salah doesn't make it easy for the linesman. He is constantly in those situations and do fast it is a hard call

I think they need to modify the rule.

right now, as with Mo on Saturday, a player can literally be leaning inches ahead of the defender and he's called off. what kind of effing advantage is leaning ahead of another player?

the lino's should only flag it if there's head-to-foot daylight between them.
