Tigres played well and were dangerously for about 15 minutes. Then something happened and São Paulo turned on the style. The key moment was when Da Silva (sp) was redcarded, in the second half. Tigres were lost from then on. It could have been 5, 6 or maybe 7.

I Agree, Tigres gambled early and lost control which now seems like very bad tactics in Brazil . :D

Also Tigres looked very tired by the end of the first half .

This sort of post does not help the situation, no matter how clever you think it is.

Snap! Boca getting spanked and they might be liking it.

    4-0 last gol del Bofo.

Appears this could very easily be 6-0

if boca want to have hope in Bs.As. they need to start hunkering down and not take in any more goals, if Tigres looked lost yesterday, boca is no where to be found today.

I am pissed at least a 7-0 zapatero would have been great, but a 4-0 is good.

What is wrong with teams this season in Copa Libertadores? If im not mistaken I think there have been 5 games where a local team has scored 4 goals this season.

Tigres and Boca were too good to lose 4-0. The way both teams lost by 4-0 is strange it looked like they didn't even show up to play. Tigres looked the same at Sao Paolo like Boca did at Chivas. Same thing happened to Junior at Boca, Chivas at Once Caldas and Pachuca at Boca.

Im guessing all the traveling took their toll on the players, but it has been a lot of games this season where teams look totally lost on the field and get hammered 4-0.

Man, Chivas gave Boca Jrs. a spanking today, and the game could have ended like 6-0 if it wasn't for a couple good saves from el Pato.

Boca has the strength to score 4 goals in la Bombonera though, but I think that Chivas will do a good game in Buenos Aires and advance to the semis.
Unlike Tigres, who I think are done, they'll win in Mty. but Sao Paulo will score at least one goal and eliminate Tigres.

america fan praising chivos? hmmm doesnt sound like a true fan... but ok, i'll bite ...
Chivos is obviously better than Boca, unfortunately Boca doesn't have a good team.... yes, good enough to make it this far, but thats about it. They have an ageing team whereas the everage age is like 28 I believe and not one player that stands out. So if you're gonna do some celebrating, just make sure that you keep that in mind, that THIS Boca sucks, and same goes with the other two argie teams, although River will do alot better than the other argie teams. Currently, the brazilians teams look alot better than the rest... so just be prepared for the inevitable.

    Question:
Why didn't Palermo and Schelotto start?
I'm convinced that the coach chino benitez is an idiot. Schelotto comes into this game with huge confidence after being the best player in River's defeat last week and yet he doesn't get one minute of play... whats wrong here? And why didn't Palermo start? Did Benitez really think this was going to be an easy game? What a tard!
