    Our remaining schedule:

    4/27 vs. Nice
    5/1 vs. Auxerre
    5/8 @ Lyon
    5/11 vs. Brest
    5/15 @ Lorient
    5/21 vs. V'ciennes
    5/29 @ Caen

We're currently on 58 points, with a game in hand. Lille have 60, having played once more.

    Lille's remaining schedule:

    4/30 vs. Arles-Avignon
    5/7 @ Nancy
    5/11 @ St. Etienne
    5/15 vs. Sochaux
    5/21 @ PSG
    5/29 vs. Rennes

I think the key for us right now to put enough pressure on them would be to win our next 2 games, both at home. Then, it will be interesting to see if Lille can work with the pressure.

I think the pressure is on Lille at the moment. They dropped points again today. What is that, 3 weeks in a row???

Six points from Nice & Auxerre would give us room to lose at Lyon. with Lilles form none of their road games look easy and Rennes will be playing for a better seed in the Europa League or maybe even a champions league spot.

    1. Lille 33 GP +28 GD 63 PTS
    2. l'OM 33 GP +21 GD 62 PTS

    Remaining matches for Lille:
    5/7 @ Nancy
    5/11 @ St. Etienne
    5/15 vs. Sochaux
    5/21 @ PSG
    5/29 vs. Rennes

Imo, games against St. Etienne, PSG and Rennes could prove very tricky for them.

    Remaining matches for us:
    5/8 @ Lyon
    5/11 vs. Brest
    5/15 @ Lorient
    5/21 vs. V'ciennes
    5/29 @ Caen

Provided we can get a result at Lyon, I think we should be good specially if St. Etienne give us a hand next week.

The title is really Lille's to lose now, they got three tricky games but two of those are at home and four point margin. Important thing is that the direct spot to champions league is secure after Lyon's disaster. Very important to stabilize the club in the champions league for the economy and also the clubs coefficient.

That did not work out too well. Furthermore, that draw at home with Auxerre is killing us now.

    Correction:

    5/18 vs. Sochaux
    5/21 @ PSG
    5/29 vs. Rennes

None of the fixtures seem "easy", by any stretch of the imagination. Then again, I also thought St. Etienne were gonna give us a hand this week...and we all know how that turned out.

Dude, you are kidding yourself if you think PSG will put up a good fight. Do you think they would like to see their rivals lift another League title??? I don't. Watch PSG bend over like a ho on main street & broadway (or where ever your local hoes workout at)

I am not so sure about that, bro, mainly because of two factors:

    1. Kambouare (sp?) does not seem like the type of coach who would tolerate that and

    2. (I believe this to be the most important reason) PSG are still looking at the chance to get into the Champions League, specially if Lyon drop points today @ Brest.

So I guess it depends on what would be more gratifying, bro: a. seeing l'OM lose out on the title (something that almost seems like a foregone conclusion) or b. get into the Champions League.

    Just some food for thought.

Plus, don't you think PSG will be out for revenge after the Coupe de France loss?

Considering there is a (very lucrative) Champions League spot on the line, I am gonna beg to differ. Plus, Lyon were held at Brest today: even a better chance for PSG to get into the CL.

    Re: The Final Match (R)

yeah, I was treated to it today as FSC showed the match. L'OM started off slow, but brought on at the end. Remy is looking like the real deal. Last season w/ Nice he had 14 goals, this season w/ L'OM he had 16.

Who would you guys says was our best player this season??? I'd venture to say it would probably come out of Mandanda, Cheyrou, Ayew or Remy.
