Attacked by an illegal... this liberal narrative is going to quickly unravel. It is always best to wait for all the facts to come out.

Do you have any evidence that this was a hate crime?

Man with baseball bat tried to attack worshippers outside Regent's Park mosque tonight.

No evidence that he was trying to carry out a hate crime either. Could have just been a really big baseball fanatic...

Well, it is England - you know how much they love their baseball there! ;)

Everyone really needs to keep a calm head right now. The attacks are becoming less and less potent overall, with occasional exceptions (Manchester). If everyone keeps a level head we might all get through this without too much more damage.

Unfortunately, we have idiotic leaders like Trump that try to fan the flames instead of throwing water on them.

In the Caribbean side of Costa Rica to about the middle of Panama there was/is a large Afro-Caribbean population. So much that it is expected to speak Patois instead of Spanish. Tons of Walters, Bryces, Ericks, Bryans etc etc from that area. Of course, as someone else pointed, if you pronounced it as a typical English name people may get confused. Ironical.

Just like gun shot murders in inner city America, people do not care about terrorist attacks on Muslims, it does not get TV ratings like attacks on white people.

    Actually, quite English.

Widespread rioting has created a surge in demand for baseball bats in the United Kingdom, although it's not clear whether the buyers are would-be looters or people trying to defend themselves from said looting. Why would Brits choose baseball bats over cricket bats?

Movies, possibly. Many people in the U.K. seem to associate baseball bats with violence, perhaps on account of the long association between the two in American films (like The Warriors), television shows (like The Sopranos), and video games (like Grand Theft Auto). The idea of baseball-related combat has become so common in England that theater companies regularly call BaseballSoftballUK, the country's development agency for the two sports, seeking bats for staged beatings. In addition, one of the organization's female members was once singled out on a bus by a police officer who demanded that she produce a softball to prove that she wasn't carrying her bat as a weapon. There may be some logic to preferring a baseball bat for self-defense. Aluminum baseball bats are typically around 40 percent lighter than cricket bats, and are therefore easier to wield.

In short, tradition! Dating back at least to 2011..

No doubt. If someone murked your Mexican ass on 18th and Western, it'd be barely a blip, and trumpites would celebrate.

If Hi-meh Bemoreh got snuffed, trump himself may send his condolences.

You really think this one has Latino ancestry ("Mexican" is a matter of citizenship)? I'd figure White (Chicago Daley White) to the bone unless someone I can trust has seen him in person to say otherwise.

I always thought, anachronistically, that the helmet belonged to catcher John Roseboro.

But it's a Giants helmet belonging to Marichal.

I wonder if Marichal would've faced greater punishment if the catcher had been Joe Torre or Tim McCarver.

    No, I don't...

You mean to say that Jack Jewsbury doesn't get special protection from the refs like he's Michael Jordan or sumfin?
