At 6 feet 1 and 170 pounds -- and growing -- Buddle was dubbed "El Tanque'' (the Tank) by Argentine fans last year when he was in South America for an Under-20 tournament. "He's a horse,'' Kansas City goalkeeper Tony Meola said from the sidelines as Buddle shredded the Wizards for six points Aug. 18. http://www.dispatch.com/crew/crew.php?story=dispatch/news/sports02/aug02/1448815.html
wasn't eduardo hurtado also nicknamed "the tank"? How in the world is Andrulis gonna find playing time for Buddle with McBride back now? He's been on a tear, but I think he'll go back to being the second forward chouice off the bench after Dante, if dante is 100% healthy. Not an easy situation for Andrulis.
he could even start them on a rotating basis. I know that's an unpopular idea here, but a rotation may surprise the opposition.
Jeff and McBride will probably start on Saturday. I would say that right now Buddle has the edge over Dante off the bench. He's looked much sharper in that role recently than Dante has. And he's been healthy as well while Dante seems to have had some muscle problems recently.
