Sneijd'Or paired with Chicarito and Shrek, yes please! Jonathan has a chance of starting for Che, Maduro is a starter so how hard can it be? I kid I kid. :p

I hope for Gullit's sake that he has already landed in Amsterdam after what he had just said about his former club LOL

If I were him I would keep my mouth shut until I got all of my money
When Kadyrov changes his mind, what could Ruud do, lawsuit or so :D <--- (that's Kadyrovs face when he hears Ruud is going to sue him or demanding to pay him his money)

Interesting perspective... makes perfect sense. M.U have a few gods with strong personalities-- Rooney, Vidic and SAF himself in particular. I think Sneijder will grow in person knowing that he's not the alpha dog there. But of course, the opposite could be true as well, he may be driven out if he can't gel (see: Ruud, Jaap Stam).

Nah both players were really loved in Manchester, Fergie considers selling Stam his biggest mistake.

Ruud really wanted to join Madrid like Beckham before him and C. Ronaldo after. Stam was sold because of revelations in his autobiography about Fergie tapping him up when he was still at PSV.

With Leonardo becoming sporting director at PSG, Maicon flirting again with Madrid, Eto'o revealing "interesting" offers and Sneijder claiming only God knows where he will play next season makes me kind of feel sorry for Inter. Fortunes of change.

On the AZ website it sounds like he's going to PSV--nothing on when or any $$ numbers yet

Dutch media report the transfer fee is 2.2 million of which 700k will go to AZ. I assume the rest is for Schaars and his manager.

I for one don't see what's going to be expected of this enclave of Dutch 2nd tier players. It's not going to be enough to compete with Porto...

The transfer is being held up by bank guarantees requested by AZ. Fee is believed to be 4 mil yes.

Main reason for this is because another Spanish club in Valladolid are still owing AZ money over the Medunjanin transfer.

    Mathijsen signed for Malaga instead

lol, i am a bit disappointed tbh

he will never win anything now in Malaga,

at least he can still win Eredivisie with us, and play in the Champions League

    poor Mathijsen :(

I am sure he is making more money at Malaga than he would at Ajax so I don't think he is "poor"

Schaars is a decent player. Not good enough for the top, but just a good player.

Ajax scout John Steen Olsen reinstated our interest in Shaqiri, but don't think we will see any young Swiss players in Amsterdam any time soon.

I like him a little bit more after he had stated yesterday that he would only leave AZ for PSV or Ajax in Holland and we weren't even in for him. :D

Wasn't he the captain of the U-21 team that won 5 years ago--as well as the captain of AZ when we won 2 years ago

He happens to be a mid-fielder and Holland has some of the best in the world right now but he still managed to be part of the squad

I'd say he's a very good player--would have been a great fit for PSV
