Haha. Not the best picture, but they do look alike, at least the top two.

If he wasn't, how much of a chance do you think there is he would admit it? I say about 1/75000000.

The 1st picture was when Maradona scored against Greece his only goal in the 94 WC already on stimulants.

The 2nd when he took six from Bolivia at the 2009 WCQ in La Paz (probably chewed some coca leaves before the game).

Sad what some legends do in order to destroy their own reputation.

    I know.

The great problem was assuming the Argentinian NT as a coach & right away fighting with Riquelme.

If he had chewed some coca leaves before he wouldn't have done any of the two things.:D

True enough. Doesn't change the fact that he's the best player that ever lived though.

Yeah but players are humans and Pelé (& Garrincha) was/were super-humans.

    You're dealing with another category.;)

Maradona would run circles around Pele without letting the ball touch the ground. Comparing them is like comparing Madonna with Britney Spears. One is a genious, the other is a media created hypemachine.

    Duck,

That's the last post on that matter I'll write to you in respect to the thread topic.

I'll be gladly be expecting your PMs.
    Thanx for giving me reason.

Maradona (the king of 'woulds' & 'ifs') ran in circles around everybody 'without letting the ball touch the ground' & scored 300 goals.

Pelé ('the king of football') dribbled the right people forward with the ball in the air & on the ground & scored 1300 goals.

'Running in circles' just shows who's the 'satellite' & who's the King.
Funny, isn't Britney the drug addict?
The whole Maradona transcurred in the media age.

When Pelé started playing pro in 56 not even TV transmissions existed from Brazil to Europe & even in 58 & 62 they were very precarious compared to the 80's.

In Brazil they started only from 70 on, when Pelé was already King of football since 58 - without media.;)
