Nike wants to sign a contract with RMadrid and offered €120M/year - Adidas' current contract is €75M. [@eduardoinda]
Aaaand even more: OKDiario: With Real Madrid earning just €40m yearly with Adidas & a no new deal announced, Nike are ready to pounce with a €120m offer. - So some sources are saying that we earn 40,some 75 M. The consistent thing is that Nike is offering 120 M. Reminder that Barcelona is earning like 100 M + bonuses from Nike according to some sources. From others it's : Barcelona are paid £120million per year by Nike for the little logo. Manchester United are paid £75m by adidas and £47m from Chevrolet. Adidas better cough up some real money. We have some of their biggest athletes like Bale,James,Kroos,Morata & Benzema. Rumors that Ramos is also switching to them. We should definitely be aiming for insane sums as these deals last for a long time. Imo 140 M is the minimum that we should look for. United and Barcelona are both over 120 M pounds and some bonuses.
Adidas is so much more classy looking than Nike. Would really suck if we went over to Nike, but Adidas does need to improve what they are paying the club.
What I hate about Adidas is their ads. They target the "12 yo fckboy wannabe swagger" audience. With their stupid "bla bla" shit that originated from Mino Raiola,I'm not even kidding. To the ridiculous poses, especially Pogba. Just watch their ads.. Meanwhile Nike:
Yea the add's do suck but I try to ignore advertising in general so it doesn't bother me too much. When it comes to the jersey's, apparel, shoes, and boots I think Adidas is so far superior to Nike, I prefer the simple classy look of Adidas.
I'm the same. That's why the ads and their new poses really tickle me the wrong way. They're selling out.
Adidas >>>>> Nike Nike used the same jersey template for absolutely every NT and then now club teams for this season. Talk about lack of creativity lol
On November 26th, we're going to wear this kit to raise awareness of ocean pollution. It's made entirely out of marine debris.
On top of my head, we've used black, blue, purple, gray, orange, pink, and gold accent colors in the last few years on our home kits. So I guess it was teal's turn. I understand what adidas is doing. They have to somehow make every year's kit unique, while being severely limited since 95% of the kit is white. I thought this year's purple away is our best looking away kit in a while.
in the 1990's, some so-called experts in the US came up with the idea that teal jersey wold be the best selling ones. that was why Mighty Ducks, Vancouver Grizzlies, Seattle Mariners, LA Galaxy, Charlotte Hornets and Jacksonville Jaguars all wore some teal in their jersey. They were all teams that started in the late 1980's and 1990's.
Real Madrid met with Under Armor and stated that they are willing to part ways with Adidas for an annual €150M. [marca]
