I think he said that as a normal joke without any double meaning behind that...

 

Thats almost even more sad since where does that put him......

 

Has the president of Yokohama made any promises about resignation this year? Just kidding... I am sure whistled out by the crowd aint in no ones interest

 

I think he is going after they win the championship so J-League doesnt dare to throw them out for bad economy.

This year lots of teams were quite even inconsistent none of them really standed out. I think title to Marinos os Sanfrecce would have been the most fair result to be honest. And since the Marinos gifted them with a chance purple archers didnt hesitate to take it!

But true thats why the mayor exactly didnt want them to win the title, thats why that championship is so crucial for Sanfrecce.

 

In Brazil a news site published that Nakajima was "an essential player to winning the 2012 title".
