    Fundraising update

Two training matches: first team Grampus 0-2 Sanfrecce (Mujiri again, Hisato); second team Sanfrecce 2-3 Giravanz (Osaki, Hattori). roundup

Sanfrecce also announced another charity match in Hiroshima, against Kobe on 9 April. No mention of Sanga yet though - a warmup match before the Vissel game maybe. Sometimes they don't announce practice games because of worries about security or whatever.

I'm not sure if I've understood this correctly from the translations, but it seems that Ryuji Ishibashi has been elected a member of the Hiroshima City council, representing Asaminami ward. The Sanfrecce angle here is that I believe Ishibashi is the recently departed matchday DJ for Sanfrecce, who left a couple of weeks ago. I was sad to hear that he had left (loved his "Sanfrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrece Hiroshima!" and "Welcome to Here!") but I had no idea that he had political aspirations. Talk about a community football club

I spent the weekend in Hiroshima.

Great atmosphere at the stadium, very nice people at the club, and lunch with Sato and Nishikawa--Interview coming in 10 days or so.

Hard, if not impossible, not to love Sanfrecce... :)

    Really ?
That works for anything that's written here ... Just surprised to see a shirt betraying the history of Marseille.

While Maeda is out it's a good opportunity for him to show what he's capable of

Sanfrecce U18 beat Cerezo U18 in the west division of the Takamado Cup. They will play the winners of the east division, Consadole Sapporo U18, in the final on 17 December at SaiSuta 2000.

No ---> to very little update on Sanfrecce across the season and after it.

They did great. Their 3-6-1 was really enjoyable to watch, however I guess that may as well be gone now, that Petrovic is leaving. Will he be taking Lee with him to Urawa? That is the question now, in any case if Sanfrecce lose them both I expect them to fall hard in the rankings next season.

Also yeah you have to love them. If nothing else, for their celebration of goals lol

It's an awesome performance considering Consadole has two players with pro-level experience. And two really good ones. I've seen this Consadole side play a couple of times, honestly I didn't think they could be beaten.

They haven't released any information on that yet. I think they usually announce that in the new year.

is there any information which formation moriyasu will play in 2012?
i liked the 3-4-2-1 from petrovic, but it would be great to play an 4-2-3-1 like cerezo.

It is possible that some information will start to come out about that since there will be people going along to Yoshida Koen to watch the training sessions. If Moriyasu does change the formation then it will probably change for all the club since the youth teams used the senior team formation under Petrovic.
