Ok well, we're currently third in our group. We have four games left. They are: Belarus, Belarus, Lexembourg, and France. We're only a few points behind Belarus in the standings and we have a game in hand.

i well even though we are behind on points if we happend to tie belarus or france with points what comes down is what the goal difference is, WE NEED TO START SCORING END OF STORY, against luxemburg we need an estonia like miricle and score at least 5

    Predicition how the group ends:

    1. France
    -----------
    2. Bosnia
    ---------
    3. Belarus
    4. Romania
    5. Albania
    6. Luzembourg

I think we group 1 point away from home against Belarus, and the full three at home against them. That gives us 14 points, and then face Luxembourg at ome. Easy three points there. By the time we face France in our final game, we have 17 points. After that, we have second place all locked up.

Then, I hope we draw an easy team in the play-offs, but we probably won't. I think that's where our road ends for the 2012 Euros. :(

i still think we can get first romania can beat france, romania can also beat belarus which would slow them down for the race for 2nd, france also have albania which is a landmine as we have seen,

on who we could draw from group A Belgium or Turkey which we could handle either side. Group B we could have North Ireland, Russia or slovakia, Only one that would give us trouble is North Ireland, i dont think our players can handle the air up there. Group C we could have slovenia or serbia, Would love to get slovenia just so we can avoid conflict in the balkan region and so that Dodick doesnt say he would cheer for serbia, Group E look like sweden for sure, group F we could have greece or Isreal, i would perfer Greece, since in Isreal our players can handle the air we seen that with Borac and Zeljo last month, But i still hope for first

I completely agree! Group A, B, or F would be ideal. I would really like to avoid Israel at all the times. Tough tough team to play.

How did you guys find this place? Did you all come from the same place?

damn, kinda cool to have a Bosnian forum in English lol

Anyway, Bosna is definitely gonna beat Belarus in both legs, I can feel it. Lula and Salihaga are gonna rip those white Ruskis apart

Most of us are from an old forum. BigSoccer is the biggest online forum so we decided to start a community here. Glad to have you man.

Its very important for us to take AT LEAST 4 points from Belarus or its all over.

I can't see us struggling to get at least 4 points against Belarus, they don't play that quick, slick football that we are unable to play against, rather slow, patient passing football. They don't have many strikers but their midfield and defence is solid. I really hope we don't screw it up, but Papac and Salihovic's returns are going to be massive.

Spot on, my thoughts exact. I don't see them beating us for sure, but the possibility remains that they could clip some points from us on draws. But like you said, they play slow and we should be able to crack them.

That's what everyone thought in their opening game against France.

Come on guys, let's not underestimate them. They could pull an Albania (draw) on us. :D

France were in massive trouble at the time though, Belarus are a gritty, commited team whenever they play and France also had no luck on the night with an offside goal and countless saves from Zhevnov. Belarus' goal was also a clear offside. We lost to France because of our lack of bite and composure in any department. Rahimic singlehandedly saved us from a complete embarassment, there was no real game plan, not to say I didn't expect it though. I was probably the only person on the old forum who said we will lose that game.

We don't usually have trouble against slow-paced teams and it should be the same here, especially since the campaign is very close to the end.

Like I said, I dont expect anything less than 6 points from the White Russians. We'll own them, you'll see haha.

Dzeko is getting in form but I just hope Pjanic gets playing time at Lyon

    Dream team:

    ------------- Begovic
    Mujdza - Cocalic - Spahic - Papac
    ------- Zahirovic - Besic
    --- Lulic ---- Pjanic - Salihovic
    ------------- Dzeko

Sucks that there's no room for Stilic, Medunjanin, Ibisevic, Vranjes, etc.

Anyways, I love the new crop of players coming out... they're all full of pace, strength, and commitment: Vranjes, Zahirovic, Besic, etc.

We've got the dream problem - too many quality players.

Honestly, at this point we could make 2 quality teams on paper and they would probably come out at equal strength.

2 quality teams and a 3rd team that is also pretty good

    ------------- Begovic
    Mujdza - Cocalic - Spahic - Papac
    -------- Besic - Zahirovic
    --- Lulic ---- Pjanic -- Salihovic
    ------------- Dzeko

    -------------- Hasagic
    Vranjes - Pandza - Bicakcic - Subasic
    ----- Medunjanin - Ljevakovic
    ----Stilic --- Misimovic - Alispahic
    -------------- Ibisevic

    ------------------ Sehic
    Mravac - Zukanovic - Hajrovic - A. Spahic

    San Marino 0-1 Romania
    France 1-1 Chile
    Portugal 5-0 Luxembourg

Those are the results of our group members yesterday. The nerves are building up for me for this game in Minsk, I hope we go out there, control the game, and take our chances or we can be punished like France were. No doubt in my mind that we'll win at home but the game in Minsk is the dangerous one and potentially decides who gets at least second in the group.

I agree about the away game, but at home, it's not guaranteed. Imagine another injury happens, or Spahic gets a red card in the first leg. Those are both things that have happened and very well could happen, which I'm afraid of.

We've dominated the likes of Turkey, Greece, Belgium, Romania, and Denmark in the past and Belarus cannot be ranked as good or as successful as these teams. They have a pretty decent defence and hard-working midfield, but like Albania, don't have a killer striker who can score goals. In front of our passionate home crowd as well, I don't see us getting anything less than three points, be it 1-0 or 3-0. The away game is troubling though because it is very difficult for a team to come to Minsk and win, even France and Netherlands couldn't do it. We must come out firing on all cylinders if we want to get AT LEAST a point there next month. Rahimic, Papac, Pjanic, and Misimovic are all very key to this team and I'm sure none of them will disappoint.

This team has talent, it also has heart, but like Ivica Osim said in the past, it comes down to stamina and RUNNING. They need to run and make challenges for full-time because you know Belarus will, all those East European teams run like crazy and work for the ball.

If we can do that, we can beat them, I'm confident of it.

I have no hope of watching this game live, which pisses me off to the extreme.

Would be awesome if I could come home and see on Flashscore/Livescore:

    Belarus 0:1 Bosnia & Herzegovina

But yeah, Belarus do fight but I don't see our players moping around the pitch this team. Belarus don't play as fast as Romania and France do, and this is the most important match remaining for us, no way our players would mope around the pitch.

The game is on September 4, right?

    Anyways, I think:

    Belarus 0-1 Bosnia-Herzegovina

I have a feeling that our offense will perform against Belarus like they did against Greece, yesterday. The only difference is that Pjanic will play for us (bar injury) and Salihovic have will have an (post injury) international game under his belt. As for the formation:

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Hasagic
    - - - - - - Mujdza - - - - - Pandza - - - - - - - - - - Spahic - - - - - - Papac
    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Zahirovic - - - - Salihovic
    - - - - - - Pjanic - - - - - - - - - - - - Stilic - - - - - - - - - - - - - Medunjanin
    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Dzeko

The part I'm not sure how to organize is the midfield, plenty of options there.

Ibisevic is out for the Belarus games, plus by including him, you have 12 players in your lineup.

Not a bad lineup, but I would definetly put Misimovic and Rahimic, these two are key players to our squad, we need them in these critical matches.

And the game is on the 2nd, not the 4th.

Oh man, my bad. I can't believe Ibisevic is out for the game!

I don't know about Misimovic and Rahimic. I'd rather go with a young lineup.
