Dude., i'm hooked on that song. That video is one of the best things I've ever seen or heard. Zinedine Zidaaaannnneeee....... superstaaaaaaarrrrr
From glimpses I've seen of him interacting with the players, there's seems to be a good relationship between them (especially with Ronaldo lately), which could mean that they appreciate his work and impact.
Zidane proves all the naysayers how you don't need to be a tactical genius or an experienced coach to win. Man management is essentially the most important thing when you have a roster full of star players.
Amen. Reminds me of the Benitez tenure and how the players looked miserable on games and training. Blessing in disguise though. Zidane coming in mid-season turned out just fine. Love Zizou. Hope he brings the 12th.
Man, I think I completely blocked Benitez time with us from my mind. I have a hard time even remembering those games lol.
I don`t know about you, but i hope that his performance at Cardif goes beyond his "man management". Tactical knowledge and experience drastically improves your chances of success, not to mention a little bit of luck or simply positive variance. Essentially the most important thing is to be balanced coach and Zidane is becoming one.
He did it against Ancelotti (the best Italian coach in the world atm in my mind) and he has done it three times against Simeone, one of the most disciplined tactical defensive managers in the world at the moment. I have faith in him to do it again in the final. We also have to remember he has a fantastic staff at his disposal as well.

Insanely well. I don't know who could've predicted this. Just so happy he replaced Benitez, before severe damage was done. Look how far he has already come! This only bodes well for his career, as only 1.5 years in he has seen so much.
Guardiola who? After winning the CL as a player with REal Madrid he said: I want to win the 10th the 11th and the 12th with this club and he did just that.
He's very underrated as a coach. People were calling for subs in halftime, but he kept his cool and believed in the players, while Allegri arguably made the team worse with every substitution he made, every Zidane sub served a purpose. Bale for Benzema could have been an incredible touch too with Bale missing out on scoring at first touch by an inch.
The most incredible thing to me about Zidane is that he's still learning, he's still improving. Compare his player/sub management in his first year or the first part of the season with the 2nd part of this season and you can see how much he has improved.
Exactly, the great thing is he will get even better at this. Future is brilliant with all our young talent.
He used to drive us crazy earlier with his subs/lack of....but he has come a long way since....hope he stays for a very very very long time and keep bringing in the trophies
I love this man. I have literally followed every step of his career since he went to Juve, so the connection with him is deep. They say the second half is the half of the coaches, and oh boy, was it ever. He's done it a million times before, but his changes at the half are always game changers. Managed a phenomenal squad almost perfectly, and managed the biggest egos with grace. I hope he is here for many, many years.
