Do you use the Twitter app on your phone? If so, there’s a little half-rectangle with an up-arrow on the bottom right of each tweet (next to the heart). Tap on that, clink on “Share Tweet via...”, then click “Copy link.” Then come back to BS and paste that link into a new message or a reply and you should be good to go!
That’s what I was going to post, what did you click to have the entire tweet display, not just the lettering
The instructions I posted will post the entire tweet, including any video. Refresh your browser and it will display.
Someone posted it in a response to the video on twitter, but he actually made a fantastically timed run before the pass and should have been 1v1 with the keeper- but his teammate flubbed the pass and put way too much air under it. Adjusted, made some nice touches, and still scored.
Like this kid a lot, good head on his shoulders, and his off-the-ball positioning is very good for a Yank, but I don't really trust Kohfeldt.
In other shocking news, Sargent reports it felt great to score and he wants to earn a starting position... Josh Sargent today ⤵️“It was a great feeling to score today. I want to play more this season and earn a spot in the starting XI” #USMNT #OneGoal pic.twitter.com/swIuDcSZ6L— OneGoal (@OneGoalUS) July 20, 2019 Coach right there to pee on his umbrella.... Werder Coach, Florian Kohfeldt after Josh Sargent’s goal in a pre-season friendly today ⤵️“He did very well to get the goal. He’s been great in pre-season and earned his spot in the lineup after good practice sessions. But the competition is tough up top” #USMNT #OneGoal— OneGoal (@OneGoalUS) July 20, 2019
The competition is "tough up top" because Werder has a hoarding disorder when it comes to attackers. They need Marie Kondo in there ASAP.
We'll see if Kohfeldt is blowing smoke, is dumb as Egg the rock or really has too much ahead of his best young striker talent.
It would be nice to see Josh at the CF with Rashica on the left and Eggestein or Harnik on the right. Many of his minutes last year were on either wing and he's not comfortable there, and doesn't take advantage of his best talents. But all he can do is play well and score goals and whatever happens happens.
Don't know and there's no point in looking it up at this stage. To paraphrase Yogi Berrea, we won't know until the transfer window closes, and even then we won't know: a 17 year-old can turn in some powerhouse performances for Bremen II and get called up to the first team in, say, mid-September.
FWIW, and despite my previous post, he isn't. They have called up a number of 19 year-olds from the II team, though whether they're really in contention for BL1 PT or just to train with first team to give them incentives and/or start the transition will depend on individual circumstances. So far, the age profile is rather interesting. Out of 29 outfield players (that'll surely be pruned), all but one is either under 26 or over 30. Looks like they're going for youth that can grow with the team over the next few seasons.
And, in any case, he is among the youngest: waaay below the average. That happens when Pizzaro is in the squad
