You say that now, but wait a few years until Sarge is forced to leave the Bund his reputation and finances in tatters like CP. Who'll be laughing then?
Oh, it's official that he's buried for the year? So glad to know that you're in charge of that. He just made the bench, they're still in the cup, which could mean some squad rotation, some of the other attacking options are old and/or coming back from injuries, and they may spread minutes around in the last few games if a Europa League spot is off of the table. 8 league games left plus up to 3 Cup games - he could get in a few.

I heard somebody say Bremen just climbed the standings into a Europa League spot. They kinda have to keep on keepin' on with what's going right. Not great for those of us who want to see Sarge drilling it but that's life. The better the team, the better it will be for Sarge.
Bremen did ... ahead of Leverkusen on goal difference for the final spot. So yeah, this is not the time for them to experiment with the unknown or to focus on development of our pet projects.
Obviously, the extra fixtures that the Europa League would provide Bremen in 2019/2020 would be great for fringe players like Sargent.
If they finish #6 (most likely) they'll have to play the Second Qualifying Round against the likes of Atromitos or Sparta Prague. If they get past that, they'll still have to play the Third Round and the Play-Off. The first two duels, I can see them starting Sargent. For the play-off home/away series, they'll probably need their best team.
Gold Cup is over the first week of July. The Second Qualifying Round of the Europa is the first week of August.
he's played more than he would have otherwise this season. one has to remember that Sargent (like Wright) was able to take advantage other players being injured to even get this many chances. What's the likelihood he would have played this much had Johannsson and Bartels not been out for over 6 months? Or that Osako (between injuries+Asian Cup), Harnik (out for like a month) and Pizarro also had injury issues. still think he would have played but not as much as he did. Only 19 too, still lots of time.
True, but there’s this thing called rest that’s needed. What is it, generally 3 weeks off? That puts Sargent coming into camp first week of August and thus wouldn’t exactly be sharp to contribute in games that matter right away
With the off-season friendlies, charity appearances, and regular training sessions, footballers don't really have much of a vacation beyond the 3-day escapade to visit family. There's a reason they get paid well.
Sargant an JA on the bench for quarters v. Schalke. Wright not playing. Mckennie injured. Will try to watch. Would have been awesome in dream world to have three usa forwards starting this game
Dolo maybe but Sargent is way too tall to be a hobbit. Maybe if they showed his feet and they're furry then I'd believe it.
