How much was the old contract worth? 50M per year? Basically in 2020 we can probably hit 900M revenue. Sick.
Still not enough for the Bernabeu expansion plans that have seemingly taken 15 years and a bajillion dollars to realize.
Basketball team expected to make 29 ME loss this season. Made 100 ME loss(25 ME on average) in last 4 seasons which was covered with football revenue. This is why I don't get the media agenda against Bernabeu renovations which will only cost the club 25 ME in loan repayment every year. You have BB team making far bigger loss every year while Flo is investing 25 ME in Bernabeu renovations for next 35 years which will guarantee more revenue once it's complete(Flo says 150 ME in additional revenue). https://www.palco23.com/clubes/el-c...eve-perder-casi-55-millones-en-2018-2019.html I do think we need to reduce the cost of BB team gradually 'cos it can't make these massive losses expecting the football side to carry it. Barca making 25 ME loss. Guess apart from the big two, no one invests nearly as much in BB team that makes very small revenue.
And despite being in a great peak performance wise, winning the Euro League twice in four years. We hadn't won it since 1995.
Bernabeu renovations are essential. I have no doubt that even if we take out a loan, the name rights will easily pay off the renovation costs, when we decide to sell it. It's a no brainer.
Anyone got a lead on the latest CL ‘At the Heart Of’ documentary? We need to hire a private detective to track this mofo down.
It's really a shame that a club like ours can't post both Spanish and English versions of the documentaries. I mean, it's basically the Spanish version with English subs, how hard can that be?
Guess RM TV English hasn't aired it yet. Earlier, both English and Spanish ones used to premiere on RM TV around the same time.
Considering the size and worldwide appeal of the club I find it astonishing that both aren’t released simultaneously.
MARCA: Real Madrid have signed an advisory agreement with multinational business, Legends who’ve worked on Yankee Stadium & AT&T Stadium etc. Their business plan outlines a strategy to earn €150m yearly from the Bernabeu after it’s reconstruction.— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) November 20, 2018 Due to its city centre location, Los Blancos are aware that there are many more opportunities available to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. Their business plan outlines a strategy to earn 150 million euros more from the stadium per year, on top of the 173m euros earned in the last financial year. Through this extra income, they plan to pay the 525m euros which they'll need for the redevelopment project. https://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2018/11/20/5bf33785e2704ebe028b46a1.html
Ronaldo's hattrick vs United in 02/03 season. It's kind of sad that he only has 14 UCL goals, injuries really ruined him.
The fact that he won a then record three Ballon d'Or trophies, considered one of the greatest players to every play the game and yet still has a big question mark of what if? due to all his injuries and weight issues; it shows just how amazing he is.
His 14 second goal vs Atletico This one was a bit more odd, if you remember the game was called off due to a bomb threat that was later proven to be fake. It was 1-1 at ~87th minute. The last 6 minutes of the game were replayed and we managed to win 2-1.

The Ultras (sur) return to the Bernabeu Disgraceful. These guys should be permanently banned from our games. They were also present in Rome, separate from our regular away fans.
Anyone hear how Eleven Sports are on the brink of collapse? Sums up how stupid and far behind the Premier League the leaders are. How could you sell the rights to a company that literally had no plan about how to distribute the content a week or so before the season started?
I just read this morning that the UFC is backing away from their deal with Eleven and is gonna continue with BT Sport. I always rated the PL leadership for the deals they get but they've made a mistake this time it seems.
