Atkinson will officiate our first leg against Atletico. He officiated our 2-0 win at Schalke in 2015 and 2-1 loss at Juve in the same season. Also Atleticos 1-0 win at PSV this year in group stages.
Benzema didn't train yesterday with the rest of the group, He's not ready 100%, He'll not play [via @JLSanchez78] pic.twitter.com/NA6LbSyQq1— RMadrid Info Help (@RMadridInfoHelp) May 1, 2017
Great news, waiting for more sources to confirm! Who thinks this is Zidane's way of protecting Benzema? If he sidelines him and Morata (or whoever replaces him) performs as per his usual, it's done for Benzema at RM. Maybe I'm overthinking it, and he's not giving him some time to recover mentally, but he sure loves him enough to do this for him.
I shouldn't be glad about it(along with Bale's injury) but it seems like the only way players like Morata, Isco, Asensio, James etc. will get a chance. Let's see if it's actually true or not.
The more I think about it, the more I believe that the home match to Sevilla probably determines our La Liga fate. Given Zidane's rotations it'll probably be the 'B' team featuring in that match. If the 'B' squad can grab six points from Granada and then at home to Sevilla, you've probably got most of the big guns back playing in the final two contests (tricky ones, no doubt) needing 4 points. (FWIW I still think there's a better than 50% chance that Basura drop points somewhere on the way) It's a tough end to the season that was truly unnecessary (Griezmann/Messi last minute goals) but the players have responded brilliantly and I think we'll get it done.
Now this is more like it.... The paperwork provided by Football Leaks reveals that Adidas have committed to pay the Bernabéu one billion euros between 2015 and 2024. Annually, Real Madrid will receive a fixed payment of 70 million euros plus 22.5 percent of all sales of Real Madrid branded merchandise made by Adidas, which amounts to around 30 million euros per year. There are also a series of incentives for the Liga club: if Real Madrid win the league Adidas will cough up 2.5 million euros, rising to 3.5 million after 2020. For a Real triumph in the Champions League the sponsor will pay five million euros, rising to seven million after 2020. In return, Adidas have secured the right to organize Real Madrid’s traditional title celebrations at the Cibeles fountain in central Madrid in order to position their brand front and centre for maximum exposure. http://en.as.com/en/2017/05/05/football/1494007775_167483.html
United deal is 94 ME or sth. This is 100 ME guaranteed. Anyways, its a fake report from unreliable Football leaks. They say deal starts from 2015 yet Deloitte Money League has us getting 40 ME from old contract in 2015-16 report. Not to mention no official announcement from Adidas or RM even though it's 2017 now.
AS changed their title to "contract that wasn't signed" Lol http://futbol.as.com/futbol/2017/05/05/primera/1494004332_728235.html
So, the match against Celta Vigo has been slated on 17th May, 5 matches in 2 weeks , league has tried everything in its powers to deny us the title - will be an ultimate test for the squad , have faith in them, hope they finish off the season in style.
Have you guys tried this?? Its frickin amazing. This is so sick. Stand up & move your phone to follow the ball 360° as Real Madrid train. pic.twitter.com/Ar4pVEI2Gc— M•A•J (@UltraSuristic_) May 5, 2017
