ZZ-Flo[emoji7] Zidane: "Me parece bien la relación que pueda tener Mourinho con nuestro presidente me parece bien si es así. A mi Florentino me ha traído aquí. Llevo 17 o 18 años. Siempre voy a estar agradecido a él".— Arancha Rodríguez (@AranchaMOBILE) November 22, 2019
Damn that's unlucky. It reminds of Canizares hurting his foot because a bottle of cologne fell on and hurt his tendon forcing him to miss the World Cup.
Zidane asked about Bale: "There's a lot of noise and gestures made but in the end only football matters. I'll look at the sporting side of things concerning Bale and not what's outside of it. Bale is a part of our team. There's nothing else to look at."— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) November 22, 2019 Zidane: "I think the people should support Bale because he is with us. He is fine and trained normal. I think language barrier does play a part but after he scored the goal in the UCL final he seemed very happy. He gets along with the dressing room very well."— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) November 22, 2019 Is it calmer now that Mourinho has a job with Spurs?Zidane: "I don't care."— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) November 22, 2019 Zidane: "I think it's great that Mourinho and Florentino have a great relationship. As for me here in Spain I would only coach Real Madrid. I'm a Blanco, man!"— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) November 22, 2019 Zidane: "Odegaard is a very good player and in good shape and playing very well contributing to his team. It's great news for us in terms of the future. For now we'll focus on the players I have and later on the future."— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) November 22, 2019
Zidane: "Bale is my player. I am his manager. Everyone has their POV and it doesn't really matter what I say. [Should Gareth come and give a press conference?] He can speak what he wants if he likes but he's focused on the game."— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) November 22, 2019 Zidane: "Bale said he was more at ease with Wales just for the language. Sociedad is playing a very attractive brand of football. Young and technically gifted players in the final 3rd. They've always had such player and even more so this season. It'll be difficult for both."— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) November 22, 2019 Zidane: "Bale undisputed starter? I won't discuss that. He is an important player. He is finally fit and without any knocks he can help. Some take longer to recover. He is part of the project. I'm not saying anything I haven't said anything I haven't said before."— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) November 22, 2019 Zidane: "PSG game doesn't influence our game tomorrow. I'm not going to go into if Bale has laughed at Madrid. Bale can be a decisive player again and he will prove it. That's all I think about."— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) November 22, 2019 PSG will have Mbappe, Neymar, Icardi, Di Maria & Cavani all fit against Real Madrid.Zidane: "It's good to play against great players."— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) November 22, 2019
Zidane: "I don't want to overburden Rodrygo with too much responsibility. Some may expect him to play more but we have 25 players and he is only 18. Some will play more or less. Clearly he has the quality who must be ready to be called upon."— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) November 22, 2019 You've already been asked 8 times in the presser already on Bale, 16 times in the last pressers before Galatasaray and others. Do you think he likes being talked about this much?Zidane: "Bale doesn't like us talking about him like that. He thinks it's too much."The irony.— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) November 22, 2019
Our team doctor was fined for calling Barcelona a pack of rats in the pre match speech, 15000 Euro. Club was fined 4000 Euro for similar chants. Here's the clip.
Carvajal and Achraf will be Real Madrid's RBs next season with Odriozola's getting sold. He has not been called up for the first team since his horrible night at Mallorca. [@marca] pic.twitter.com/d6ksC3ndIJ— Infinite Madrid (@InfiniteMadrid) November 22, 2019
As I mentioned earlier, Bale is a headache for Zidane and Perez. Pretty selfish considering Perez gave him a raise after missing half his games.
Sounds like Zidane hashed this out with Bale and came away with some talking points. I don't agree with him, but he's backed Bale and put this to bed [for now].
I don't think he's backing Bale, but being asked about this all the time probably annoys him so much that the idea is to make this as uncomplicated as possible. Don't see how him smashing Bale in public and feeing newspapers with more material would have made this any easier.
MARCA: Varane picked up a knock vs PSG but nothing serious. He wasn't able to train today and might be rested for the next game vs Alaves. He has played every minute of the last 6 games. Rest due.— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) November 28, 2019 MARCA: Militao will take Varane's spot in Real Madrid's starting line-up against Alaves on Saturday afternoon. #ALARMA— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) November 28, 2019
That knock must have been to Raphael's head. I'm still perplexed at why he kicks the cross backward instead of clearing it sideways.
He literally tapped it in under Tibo. If it was the other end of the field, it would have been a neat finish He's contributed next to nothing for the team for nearly 2 years now.
Casemiro's yellow cards have been adding up this season and with vital games against both Valencia and Barcelona on the horizon he's now just one booking away from suspension for Real Madrid. Los Blancos meet Espanyol next, which would have been an ideal game for him to miss through suspension, but he wasn't booked against Alaves and now finds himself in a delicate position. If Zinedine Zidane sits him out against Espanyol then his presence at Mestalla is guaranteed, but Madrid go to the Camp Nou just three days later. Casemiro has 19 starts already this season between LaLiga Santander and the Champions League and he's continued to be key to Zidane. https://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2019/12/02/5de4df54268e3e9f778b45ab.html
