Game over. Lucky for us that header was close to Courtois. I think Madrid slowly went back to their old ways in the second half, but Levante was just effective when finishing. Bad Hazard debut; Jovic still not doing anything but hopefully he will start a game in the future. Vinicius, that man just cannot score for his life; he had 2 clear scoring opportunities (not counting the invalidated goal) and his dribbling and passing are not as good as I remember. 3 points though, but there is still work to be done so the team can keep up with subs and all
Great video about a fantastic game. I miss feeling like our team has a strategy, a plan in place, when approaching games. The intensity of classicos those days was something else, even if I am happy we have moved on from that approach it still was a very enjoyable phase just like the Capello year.
1167411578842603521 is not a valid tweet id So Real Madrid have €441 million to spend which doesn't include the Bernabeu renovation & exclusive of further player sales? This screams an assault on Mbappe soon and then some but keep a mindset of 2-3 years to be on the safe side.— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) September 15, 2019
A club without Florentino isn’t really worth thinking about right now. I just hope he puts things in place for his people to run for presidential when he calls time and for things to continue as they are.

So were the secret contracts to sign Figo from Barca and CR7 from "I wouldn't sell them a virus" ManU. Nothing's impossible for Uncle Flo, we will see.
It's been a while since we've got a big deal over the finish line. Even the Hazard deal, paying that amount of money in the final year of a contract looks poor.
Yeah yeah, missing the point though -- the point is we have seen Madrid sign players before that seemed laughably impossible initially.
Maybe not force a big club to sell in the middle of a long contract, but sometimes the player really does want to feel the happiness on his skin and runs his contract down.
PSG went on a binge but I think if they had to di it over again they couldn't pull it off. You would think they would have been all over Pogba, Varane, etc. if they had that kind of pull. And I doubt either of Mbappe/Neymar would do it over again with the benefit of hindsight.
There's nobody left with doing it for. If they slam an offer on the table that doubles any of our player's wages he's gone. Reality is we don't really have much worth going to such lengths for.
Random question for those of you in the US on the La Liga broadcasting rights. Am I correct in thinking that only BeIn Sports USA has the rights to the La Liga games in the USA? How many channels does it operate across? (assuming it is two - one English speaking and another Spanish speaking). Thanks in advance!
You are correct that BeIn has exclusive rights. They have alternative channels as well, such as beIn3 and beIn4, but you would have to make a special subscription to get access to those. There is one major problem with this. The channel is under a year-long contract dispute with a few major tv providers, namely Xfinity and Directv. I pay for sling latino that costs $10 a month to get access to all the BeIn channels.
Is sling Latino just $10 per month or is $10 an add-on to a more expensive basic subscription? I am trying to decide if I should cancel my Dish ..
Is it correct to assume that Barca and Real games are shown on the main BeIn USA channel and not often on the alternative channels?
It is just $10 per month, but it's only a limited amount of channels. I got the Sling Latino package because it's the cheapest one that has beIn. If you're cutting the cord, you may want to look at other packages if you want access to more channels. Also, you would need a device with the sling app to watch it, such as a smart tv, a roku, a gaming device (xbox, ps4), firestick, etc. Sling offers a great deal that if you pay 3 months in advance when you sign up ($30), they ship you a free roku. Yes, you can assume that. The alternative channels are for the mid-table teams.
