He needs to take more leadership responsibilities on the pitch when Leverkusen is down...he is only 19 and hope he will improve that aspect of his game going forward

They said it was an intentional shot

    Sublime finish

Said it many times he should be used as the front 3 in an interchanging system.

Using as an 8 or even as a 10 is a waste of his attacking talent. He should have more time in the final third rather than helping out defensively

True, but they are both playing in an attacking MF role. I don't think Havertz is best playing at CM or DM.

Yep, i've seen him play in those roles as well. The point I was trying to make, as an attacking player, Jadon Sancho is better although I think he is more of a winger than Havertz. Havertz to me at least seems to be best as an AM/SS.

Havertz is only 1 goal away from reaching 20 goals in all competition. Currently Havertz averages 1 goal/assist every 2 games career in the 1BL for his 3 seasons combined. And that's for a player who's played 3 pro season with the 1st season being a relegation battle and the current one where Bayer spend a good chunk of the season towards the bottom of the table.

Havertz is always compared to Ballack. Career wise, Ballack's best season ever in a top division (league only) was 17 goals while playing for Bayer Leverkusen while also being older than Havertz currently is.

1 game to go, will Havertz tie that or surpass that?

    Record pre today's match.
Leverkusen’s top scorer Kai Havertz (19 years, 328 days) is the youngest player in Bundesliga history to reach 15 goals in a season. Only Horst Köppel (19 years, 269 days) was younger when scoring his 22nd BL goal.
