Interesting, Nantes president confirms that Sergio Conceicao wants to leave. Has Porto found their coach ? Apparently Porto and Sergio met Friday and he wants to come back to Portugal for personal reasons.

That was in motion regardless of who Porto signs. Colinho in full-effect.

He only says for personal reasons, even willing to "significantly" lower his salary to go back to Portugal.

Sergio has left most of his coaching jobs due to "personal reasons"

Who knows if Sergio is going to be successful, but I do know things are going to get interesting. With FCP needing to sell players for $$$$$$$ and Sergio' propensity to explode and leave, as Vic said, for personal reasons, things are going to get hit the fan. Get your popcorn and have a seat.

Damnit. I was really hoping this was an elaborate rumour.

I'm as excited for Sergio as I was for Paulo Fonseca...... He seems to be a hot head and I don't think he will get along with Old man PDC.

If this is the type of caliber coach we are going for? why not just get Jorge Costa? He would be cheaper and would be equally entertaining.

I don't think we will be eating crow next season.

I still don't know what they paid for SC. Cash and players????

SC is a feast or famine type of coach. Let's say players buy into what he is selling, then we win next year. If they don't then there's going to be a river of sh it to deal with.

This sale would be a quick bandaid financial fix for the club. AS needs time to further develop but I don't see how Sergio will help him out. Going to Milan could turn him into a Postiga or maybe he might be better. Who the heck knows.

I'd love to put our youth talent ahead of money for a few years but we need the cash.
I guess Rui Pedro will be partnering with Soares now.

    Another Renato Sanches.
AS isn't ready to go abroad in my opinion but I guess he needs to be sacrificed for some $$$$$.
If Milan has offered 40 million, which I think is bs, then take it and run.
Your mention of Postiga is so appropriate.

AS was such a breath of fresh air at our club. It's not everyday that a homegrown talent makes a big impact on our club and country. PDC should of kept AS until after WC 2018. It would be a financial gamble but Porto needs to win the damn league too.

Pretty soon, Porto will have to win the league to make it to the CL since Portugal is dropping in the UEFA ranks.
No CL and we are completely screwed. Revigres doesn't pay the bills.

Posting was a flop at Spurs and that's what I think is going to happen to AS.
Posting was so bad that he's included in the worst strikers of all time in the premiere on the Net somewhere.

Who is next to be sold?

Brahimi and then Danilo?? 60 to 80 mil in sales should help the bank.
I don't think we own Brahimi and Danilo outright.

Like I said AS isn't worth 40 mil so if Milan is offering 40 take it and run.

Good sale on Andre Silva, what a return but it was justified when you see Alvaro Morata (cagao) going for 70m.

It's almost like he gets an additional 30m added to his value for being Spanish.

Postiga was a massive flop in England. That move destroyed his career.

Danilo is good as gone. Not sure what will happen to Brahimi.

I just hope they don't sell Felipe and Marcano

Is Quaresma still under contract with Besiktas?

I can see Danilo, Brahimiand Felipe gone.

Fcp needs 120 million to pay the bills.

Have you seen AS in Milan.
He looks like a deer in headlights.

I don't know what kind of magic Jorge Mendez is using but this guy is incredible.
How he convinced Milan to pay 38 mill for AS is beyond me.
I like AS but 38 mill, fu ck me!

AS for $40?! Great piece of business for Porto. But I do see AS leaving way too early. This looks just like another Postiga situation.

Every now then I have to remind myself just how much pull a chop by the name of Jorge Mendes has in the
world of football. One single chop pretty much pulls the strings in the background for some of the biggest players in the world today being bought, coaches being hired and so on. Pretty impressive and yet worrisome also.

I still can't believe that AS was just sold for 38 mill.
I think Jorge mendes drugs his clients before they sign on the dotted line.

Never have I said he wasn't any good. Like I have said many times, the kid played well for us this year but I don't think he's ready to leave at this moment.

Thinking he isn't worth 38 million doesn't mean I think he sucks. That's quite a leap.

For the record, NES used him quite a bit this year, especially towards the beginning of the season.
Did NES mis-manage him? yes of course he did.

We are discussing two separate things here.

Either you two have poor reading comprehension or you are just being Fifica douchebags which equals to trolling in another team's forum.
