Something that winds me up about these journalists that write these articles is there inability to write things accurately! It states that Jude is an England U19 International when in fact he’s not played higher than U17 level, surely it’s not that hard for them to research! I know it’s kind of minor but these guys get paid a lot of money and can’t even do their homework, just bugs me.
This is much more accurate https://www.express.co.uk/sport/foo...llingham-Birmingham-City-Ole-Gunnar-Solskjaer
Love the fact his Dad is looking after him and not at the mercy of greedy agents just looking to cash in on the young talent! I guess the big driver for Jude and his Dad is why move to a Premier League Club now and probably play U23 when he’s getting first team football in the Championship and making a name for himself. If it was my lad, I wouldn’t budge from Birmingham for a while longer yet to be honest, seems to be the best place for him at the moment unless Birmingham have to sell then that’s another issue.
With him,RLC and Da Silva and more coming through England are starting to produce the type of midfielder that I was so jealous of france for having, athletic and technical.
I don't think Bellingham would play U23 football if he moved in the summer. Still don't think that means he should move though. As long as he went to a top club, I don't think it'd be disastrous at all.
English eligible players starting in the Premier League, total per matchday: Matchday 1 - 83/220 = 37.7% Matchday 2 - 74/220 = 33.6% Matchday 3 - 75/220 = 34.09% Matchday 4 - 74/220 = 33.6% Matchday 5 - 75/220 = 34.09% Matchday 6 - 69/220 = 31.36% Matchday 7 - 76/220 = 34.54% Matchday 8 - 73/220 = 33.18% Matchday 9 - 77/220 = 35% Matchday 10 - 75/220 = 34.09% Matchday 11 - 71/220 = 32.27% Matchday 12 - 74/220 = 33.6% Matchday 13 - 79/220 = 35.9% Matchday 14 - 80/220 = 36.36% Matchday 15 - 77/220 = 35% Matchday 16 - 76/220 = 34.54% Matchday 17 - 78/220 = 35.45% Matchday 18 - 72/198 = 36.36% ( obviously missing the West Ham v Liverpool match so will add the correct numbers at a later date if I remember but I anticipate adding another 5 English players at least but quite possibly more ) Matchday 19 - 79/220 = 35.9% Matchday 20 - 78/220 = 35.45% Matchday 21 - 75/220 = 34.09% Matchday 22- 83/220 = 37.7%
Garner is still super young. Skipp, in a different situation considering he's been out of U23 football for so long.
This could be complete BS and probably is but apparently Man Utd have offered 25 mil for Jude Bellingham
Hope you don’t mind @JRSG but just thought I’d share the very good scouted football podcast podcast on here regarding your excellent views on the current England Youths. It’s a good listen for those that haven’t listened yet. The Scouted Football Podcast returns with the first episode of 2020 – Episode 13.We're joined by @RowdenJRSG and his encyclopaedic knowledge of England's youth setup and its players. It's a good one.Available now in the usual podcast places.https://t.co/rQSgAWgozK— SCOUTED (@scoutedftbl) January 17, 2020
Lots of media outlets running with that story. It might have legs and I think 25m is a realistic figure.
Enjoyed listening to that. Would be nice to hear a part two with thoughts on some of the other players such as Gelhardt, Jones, Garner and Sessegnon.
Bellingham should not go to Utd I always feel mid table is best for young English players. Leicester really let a lot of guys develop with little pressure and now look really strong Utd and any other ‘top’ side won’t play these guys regularly and in big games vs good sides I hope he stays there and moves up to a side like Southampton etc and then gets a big move
Another premier league game when the league is over, another game where Foden doesn't get on the pitch. Yes he may have featured slightly more recently, but it's nowhere near enough considering this should now be a golden opportunity to bed him in. David Silva is one of my favourite players in pl history but I honestly don't get what Guardiola feels they can gain by starting him now. He's past his best and leaving in the summer.
It’s frustrating to say the least! I’ve said it before and will say it again, people keep harping on that Foden will play loads next season when Silva has gone but I just can’t see it at the moment if I’m honest.
Nice assist from Gallagher, not sure he’s as limited as some people think he is ( not referring to anyone on these forums fwiw ) but I actually think he’s a good player who has a creative side to his game. Rhian Brewster scores for Swansea. The first of many. https://t.co/dLxAxNSNpW— VERSUS (@vsrsus) January 18, 2020

He gets in good positions and has a big engine. Thought he had a horrendous performance in the last u21 game though, does not like being under pressure
