Chelsea’s transfer ban has been lifted come January. I wonder what impact that’s going to have on the young players Lampard has promoted this season, if any?

Not a lot, his commitment isn't based on a transfer ban.

Can't see him buying a right-back so James should be safe. Think he's very happy with the job Tammy is doing and he's a fan of Mount. I'm not sure which positions he'd be looking to strengthen at all to be honest, whether it replaces an academy player there or not.

Think the only issue is they need a new striker to compete with Tammy as Giroud looks shot - that player can then displace him.

But you can't worry about things like that too much, Chelsea (finally) have the right man to utilise their unprecedented production line.

Their fans must be loving it, well the old school ones for sure

I think it's mainly for a right winger and left back. Sancho is widely reported to be one of Lampard's targets as is Chilwell. The recent noises however are that Sancho will stay until the end of the season which is good news.

Harvey Elliott has been subbed off after 15 mins against Spurs in PL2. Not sure whether it's an injury but it would be a real shame if he were to miss out on the Carabao Cup & CWC games, although he obviously has time on his side.

It has to be for an injury, just hopefully it is precautionary after a knock rather than being forced off

After this defensive display you will not have to worry.

Nope, he’s on the bench along with Jones.

Harry kane banging the goals in. Went down with an ankle injury but hopefully its not serious. England without him would be a major blow

Curtis Jones with a little cameo today, he has the technique and intensity needed to play in midfield.

Loads of interesting debuts/cameos all the way down the leagues this season. Not sure if there's just been a nationwide injury crisis, but things have opened up for a load of players in almost every game.

Yes. I saw yesterday Oliver Casey's (2000 born) debut for Leeds in the dying minutes, and his style not unlike Ben White. Huddersfield also had a debut for 2002 born striker Kian Harratt in the same match.

If youve not caught the youtube highlights of birminghams last 2 games check them out. Jude bellingham is the best prospect outside of foden cho and sancho. Hes already driving games at championship level. When he puts on muscle hes going to be some player

The question is, where will he play next season? Hopefully not City or a mega rich club.

One of the most pleasing things about Bellingham is that he hasn't been pushed into a forward role. He's actually been carrying quite a lot of defensive responsibility.

I honestly dont remember the last time i saw a player so easy in any midfield role. Bryan robson maybe?....hopefully he stays at birmingham a few years. Pep clotet is doing a fine job with him

Exactly that! Too often players of his ilk are shunted further forward to their detriment.

I’d add Smith Rowe to the list of players who need a loan. He may well play on Thursday but it’s still not ideal.

No tomori again. Very worrying that Zouma keeps his place even though he was poor at the weekend. No mount, only 1 English player. Got a feeling Lampard is going to spend a few quid in January and these young lads will miss out

Tomori is injured so will probably be back this Saturday. The other English players played on the weekend so probably giving them a break. Don't want them being burnt out for when they come on international duty. Lampard knows what he's doing.
