The funniest part about it is that they were in the a position to own this league for years, if not decades.

Immediately post-Calciopoli, the league was in tatters and Juve and Milan weren't even challenging. All they had to do was run that circus, I mean club, with some sensibility and forethought. Yes, they won the treble, but they have literally done jack dick since then. A club in the position that they were in should have taken 2/3 years max to become competitive again, if they had been administered at all competently.

It's now been a decade. Each summer the Italian media trumpets that it's merda's year, and every season they are a joke. They can bitch and complain that we're buying the league all they want, but they are the ones that pissed it all away. And now they're exactly what they were before 2006, as if Calciopoli never happened.

But they still claim that it was Moggi's and Berlusconi's "corruption" (corruption in which they were full participants) that held them down. I mean, their stupidity is unmatched.

Napoli was not in a position to win the Serie post calciopoli. They were promoted to Serie A with Juventus.

Even with Milan and Inter out, the revenues made by Napoli and Roma are not comparable with Juventus. We should bring in Li Yonghong, he would've tripled our revenues in 3 years am I right? ;)

Napoli though was still a big club. If you look at top 2 of the Serie B in 2007, it’s the same as the Serie A is now.

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006–07_Serie_B

Whether then didn’t win or not, without a Juventus and Napoli , the Serie A was a joke.

We're the 4th most supported club in Italy. But the gap between the top 3 to the next 2 (Napoli/Roma) is quite large

MorRATi paid the price in the end losing control of Inter, and plummeting the league into 10 years of turmoil just to chase the treble and for what gain? Ultimately he was the dumb rich kid that learned nothing other than money can buy you anything, right and to what cost? Again just to move into obscurity a few years later.

Not renewing Kean before now is looking like a huge mistake. Fatty is in the position to hold us for ransom.

That's fine. It's an English tradition, not Italian, and the broadcasters were just looking for a way to generate more ratings. We won't even notice its absence.

Napoli loses, Juve needs 3 wins and the Scudetto is locked in.

Two wins & a draw technically is all that is needed.

Actually just 2 wins will do it because we have the head to head record against Napoli already in the bag.

Where did you hear that? Serie A was always head to head.

Updated to match(es) played on 4 April 2019. Source: Serie A, Soccerway
Rules for classification: 1) Points; 2) Head-to-head points; 3) Head-to-head goal difference; 4) Goal difference; 5) Goals scored; 6) Draw. (Note: Head-to-head record is used only after all the matches between the teams in question have been played).[40]
    (Q) Qualified to the phase indicated.

Saw that! Love when midfielders can drive into the box to provide extra scoring threats. He's like a more technically gifted and athletic Khedira. With that said, Sami reads the game and clogs passing lanes better than almost anyone. I'm excited for Ramsey to do those things in the famous black and white stripes.
