They are showing President Trump and his wife, Melania, landing in Corpus Christi, Texas to view the damages from Hurricane Harvey. Both are wearing ball caps, the President a white one with USA in the front. Melania has a black hat and it was a profile shot. I could see "TUS" on the side and for a moment, was wondering if it spelt JUVENTUS. It was FLOTUS.
Andrea Agnelli was elected Chairman of the ECA, the European Clubs Association. This is a pretty big deal. There are reports that he and a few others on the executive committee are looking to introduce reform for the transfer windows.
It's also, in its own way, a reflection of how far we've come since 2006/07. He really has done a fantastic job since he was appointed to replace Cobolli Gigli.
Per GdS, Juve's salaries. Remember that in Italy salaries are reported AFTER tax, unlike other countries.
They might, but how do they feel having their salaries and their relative position revealed to the world?
It doesn't make the promos on social media any less embarrassing, though. But we have to do what we have to do, I guess...
Juve released their financials today... Revenues for 2016/17 were €562.7 million with a profit of around €43 million. Not too shabby.
Not too shabby indeed. If you had told me 10 years ago that this is where we'd be now, I'd I have said you were crazy.
Nope. Still behind the likes of Real Madrid, Man Utd, Barca, Bayern, PSG, Man City, etc. But we're head-and-shoulders the most profitable club In Italy. So it's a start, at least.
We can hope. If we keep developing in this way, there's no reason why we shouldn't, and sooner rather than later. How well my Saturday is will depend in large part on how we do against the cows, soji. Right now, I'm good, but you might want to ask me again later (or not, depending upon how well we do against the cows lol).
Wow! It looks like we slaughtered the cows! In my book, that makes for excellent Saturday I might just have cow for dinner
