No worries. Now that he's being reunited with Alex Sandro, they'll both magically regain the form they had at Porto. [/sarcasm]

I always stated he was a winger & had no issue with his attacking abilities. Perhaps City may be a good fit for him although he will be burned if they use him at fullback. I also do not look at City as a direct rival in the CL. If we meet them in the knockout stage, a big if for us at this point, I do not worry about Cancelo. As for Danilo, he will get a chance to play for a side that is coached to play the most beautiful football in the world. So who knows.

If we played City in CL, Cancelo wouldn't be my top concern either given the other great players they have. That said, I would disagree that he didn't improve the squad for the reasons stated above.

Danilo couldn't cut it at Real Madrid and City. I know you're being sarcastic about Sarri, but I don't know that he now figures it all out here.

    DECEMBER 30
    • Mario Mandzukic moves to Al-Duhail for a free.

What a stupid move, they renewed his contract back in April, then the debacle in the summer and now he moves for free. It's like Paratici learned nothing on how Marotta did things, or maybe he learned the bad things.

It certainly didn't seem we had clear and sensible transfer strategy. Or it was influenced by fact that no player wanted to leave. Either way, it was a mess.
