If he plays anything like he does in this highlight video, I'm making the bold prediction that we won't allow 4+ goals quite so many times in 2018.

 

On paper, just what the doctor ordered. I'd been saying it - Quakes need some youth and some physicality on their back line.

Presumably with a 1-year loan they are projecting him to play, so we could move Flo to CDM and have a Flo - Godoy center midfield, Godoy taking more of a #8 role, which is a better fit for him.

One day the Quakes site will have a "five things" list that isn't comprised of five things we already know, including from the Quakes own press release announcing the signing that they post like five minutes before this...

"Quakes sign Player X from team Y"

Five things to know:
-His name is X
-We just signed him
-He used to play for team Y
-Age / height / weight info that's easily found
-Uh... goals / assists stats that are easily found

I'm still a bit uncertain how they are going to do this. Can you "buy" international slots from the league for TAM or GAM? Is Dawkins out the door?

 

You can NOT buy international slots from the league.
You CAN buy international slots from other teams (as we did last year).
You CAN have guys who take up international slots no longer take them up, by getting them green cards.
