Also...you guys have been good at posting a lot, but I need to ask you guys to start another Werder thread. Big Soccer likes to limit threads to about 500 posts.....server issues. So start a new one here in the next day or so. Thanks

How about giving them a Sub-Forum dude??!!!

They are much more deserving than Kaiserslautern or Wolfsburg.

I don't think it's asking a lot. Be patient. Werder still have more than one go around left. I never thought they'd beat Barca, but if they take the next two from Udinese, which they can do even without Klasnic, they are right back in it.

There's no way in hell Panathinakos are going to beat Barca twice. Hell, I don't think they will beat Barca once.

Even if Werder win one and draw one with Udinese, that still gives them a shot at second in the group.

This isn't directed at you Hawki, but I think some of the others here on this thread need to stop with this "gloom and doom" bulls#it and stick by your team.

It f#cking sucks that a BVB fan believes in your team more than some of you do.......

Thank you, for providing the support to my argument. By the way Klose, not Klasnic, was fortunate enough to have the ball bounce his way. It's always better to be lucky than good. I predict a 3-1 victory today against Hertha. The boys should be well rested after this week.

Yes, referee couldn´t see the situation in the penalty area,
because Borowski stands in front of him.

That penalty on Basturk was pretty clear! Should have been our win, but I think that non-penalty call changed the game.

Yes, linesman should have seen it.
Sure, it´s hard to come back after 0-2,
but the reason, why we came back, was IMO,
that Hertha´s player had no more stamina.
We profit from your UEFA-cup match on Thursday.
DFL should let all UEFA-cup teams play on sunday,
like many other European leagues do.

[sarcasm]But the poor Sportschau and all those fans who worship Saturday 15:30 wouldn't know what to do with themselves.[/sarcasm] :p

    TIM BOROWSKI

I have been really liking what i have seen from him for a while now BUT that volley against Hertha Berlin was superb.

He's now my third favourite player at Werder Bremen behind Ivan Klasnic and Johan Micoud but damn man, he could be really good for the German NT!

Oi still smarting after that loss.

Still scratching my head, we didn't look tired AT ALL for the first 85 minutes than wham~! Oh well, thats football.
    '
Once again good win. Hopefully you can carry over your domestic form on the European stage. We're just not good enough right now, and I do think we are really tired.

Yes, every match is a final now.

Your team is good, especially the defense.

Hertha is a quality side ... I was expecting a hard, well played match and that's what we got.
You say that your club isn't good enough right now and I'm not so sure that's true. Yes your guys are tired, but they play with heart and have plenty of talent. You wouldn't be where you are in the table if it were otherwise. You will recover and be a force .... count on it.

I can think hertha or HSV will place 3. this year... Hertha will need a attacker though.
