Victor and about 8 members of the Honduran national team were on my flight from MIA to SFO yesterday morning. I asked him to pose for a photo so that I could make una cabesa grande. He seemed to understand my extremely poor Spanish...

I thought Bernardez retired from international duty after the World Cup. Perhaps the dire state of his club team forced him to reconsider. He'll miss the RSL match and the friendly against C.D.S. Vida, his first professional club team.

 

Maybe he wanted futbol to be an enjoyable experience again.

 

And central midfielders who won't keep passing the ball to him or escorting the opponent to pay him a visit.

 

Just noticed that Honduras' first match is October 9th in Chiapas against Mexico, so he'll miss the October 8th away match at Portland as well.

 

muma has been pretty poor for us lately, and his hollywood passes out of bounds don't help

 

Since this season is over, letting Bernardez go play for Honduras allows Harden (or maybe JJ) to get more time at centerback.

 

I knew he would play for his country again.

 

wouldn't mind if he just retires all together. Plz

 

I vote for JJ, Let's see if the whole JJ for CB thing actually has merit. I think it might. Unfortunately as quite possibly a lame duck coach Wat has 0 incentive to try to experiment with stuff to potentially help them next year.

 

He's the least of Honduras' problems. I've watched all their games. No offense.

 

All starts with the call-ups... So far they've all been mediocre and baffling.

 

Do they have anyone better then Muma at CB? Doubt it.
