French '96 THEOSON-JORDAN SIEBATCHEU at France D1 club Stade Reims was born in Washington, according to a few database sites and a Facebook fan page, among other links. I haven't been able to confirm it. http://stade-de-reims.com/sdrplayers/theoson-jordan-siebatcheu/ http://humeurfoot.over-blog.com/2015/08/sdr-mercato-in-out.html
6'3 CF, 19 years old who's regularly playing and scoring in Ligue One. Not been capped yet by France. Someone alert that usaprospects guy on twitter to get on this case to find out if he's eligible for our YNT's.
A useful tool for the next time anyone asks about some of the Alianza players. Here's a photo album with DOB, place of birth & citizenship(s) for the 48 finalists for this round: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10153307182743370.1073741895.170725213369&type=3

Transfermarkt says VfB Leimen's '90 Kevin Tayler is American-born. http://www.transfermarkt.com/kevin-tayler/profil/spieler/330347 http://www.vfbleimen.de/mannschaften/1-mannschaft/
I found an interview in French where he confirms he's a Yank! http://footu21.fr/2015/07/25/siebatcheu-une-chance-pour-moi/ Pour finir, tu es né à Washington. My French is a little rusty, but here's my translation: Q: Finally, you were born in Washington. Would you be able to play for the USA in the future? A: Yes, I also have the U.S. nationality. I've never been contacted about being included in the youth teams. It is something that could interest me. Why not? But I'm not thinking about it at all right now. I'm focused on my club. If you're good at the club, then you'll get what you deserve. Looks like he's doing well off the bench, according to the club's website. 8 games played, 3 goals, 276 minutes played, 1 goal per 90 minutes. http://stade-de-reims.com/sdrplayers/theoson-jordan-siebatcheu/
As a bit of a side note, http://fussballn.de/ seems to have a pretty large database of potential leads, albeit lower-division ones.
Good idea. It might be easiest to look in Major League Soccer first, since if I recall correctly there are already many known American players there.
The Ecuador soccer website had a '98 named Jorge Alvarez as American-born and playing in that country a couple years ago. Not sure where he might be now. http://www.ecuafutbol.org/web/modal.php?cedula=12794
The Ecuador soccer website has an '03 named Jaime Gonzalez as American-born and playing in that country in 2014. http://www.ecuafutbol.org/web/modal.php?cedula=12961
The Ecuador soccer web site has a '98 named Martin Velasco as American-born and playing there in 2014. http://www.ecuafutbol.org/web/modal.php?cedula=12946
More... The Ecuador soccer web site has an '00 named Christian Cozar as American-born and playing there in 2014. http://www.ecuafutbol.org/web/modal.php?cedula=12965
Still more... The Ecuador soccer web site has an '01 named Ronny Pelaez as American-born and currently there with a club called Gualaceo. http://www.ecuafutbol.org/web/modal.php?cedula=13142
And even more: The Ecuador soccer web site has an '01 named Jorge Calderon as American-born and currently there with Petrolero. http://www.ecuafutbol.org/web/modal.php?cedula=13205
Tired yet? The Ecuador soccer web site has a '98 named Derek Medina as American-born and currently there with a club called Tecnico Universitario. http://ecuafutbol.org/web/modal.php?cedula=12793
Here's American-born Henry Ramon, an '01 apparently with Deportivo Cuenca in Ecuador. http://www.ecuafutbol.org/web/modal.php?cedula=12809 There are actually more of these guys -- will come back to this later, I guess. Since this is the official Ecuador soccer web site, these guys in some ways may not be candidates for this thread. They're real guys, who an official source are (or recently were) overseas and are Yanks. However, given their youth and the relatively messy state of some Ecuadorian club sites, I haven't confirmed most of these guys current whereabouts. When that's done, they could get their own threads if the situation warrants.
@Manolo @LDU4ever @barcelonista1981 Hey guys, any help on these names? What's the best way to get more information on them?
A few database sites say a '92 named Dario Joya at Santa Tecla in El Salvador is American. ¡Bienvenido Darío Joya! firmo hoy por tres temporadas con el club. #SomosTecla #SomosGrandes pic.twitter.com/9GMMHCthDO— Santa Tecla Fútbol Club (@santateclafc) July 29, 2015 A player with that name played some JuCo ball at Hill College in Texas. Could be the same guy, no idea.
Would love to help out Bolivian Fuego, truth be told these are very young players registered in small clubs, Now the fact that they are American born is not a surprise, it is very common for families who have Visa to travel to US to give birth just so the child can be American, also, A lot of the Immigrant families that had babies over there eventually came back to Ecuador but the kids are Americans.
