Thanks, but it's not mine. (Though I did contribute the mini-kit and the mini-Q to the proud parents).
The longest span between delivery dates for twins is 87 days, if you believe it. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/...s-apart-ireland-guiness-record_n_3186135.html
Congratulations to Shea Salinas on scoring a spectacular goal to beat the LA Galaxy in the Cali Classico! I think he just earned himself another 2 year contract!
Great finish by Salinas, but Hoesen also made a great play. He used his speed to win that ball into no-man's land. Looked like Gals #8 could have tackled it away but may have been leaving room for Van Damme to do it, or he didn't see Hoesen coming but Van Damme couldn't quite get there. Hoesen steamed in there to win it and then took some nice touches in traffic before playing Salinas into space on the right.
Are you sure it was that one and not the one in LA that he snuck in behind to head over the LA keeper in the last minute, then did the 60 yard run like Salinas did?
Yes, the video of Alan Gordon removing his shirt after a late game-winning goal in LA was from May 2012 whereas the one at Stanford was from June 2013.
"FEATURE: How versatility helped Shea Salinas and the Quakes in 2017" (SJEarthquakes.com - Thursday, 10/12/17) GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
Just saw that Jackson Yueill is making $175,992.00 while Shea Salinas a ten year veteran is only earning $185,000.00. You would think Shea would be making more by now....
Salinas's salary actually seems about right by MLS standards for a player of his quality / experience. Jackson will grow into his salary soon enough.
Regardless of all the knocks on Salinas, he deserves more than that for having been in the league for 10 years.
OMG Why is every time a salary is posted it is always " Really that player DESERVES more, or that player doesn't DESERVE that amount." What always seems to be forgotten is that the player and the teams AGREE that they player DESERVES the salary they sign for.
You should get the amount that is commensurate with your value at any time. It needn't go continually up like at a company where experience means more value. In fact as a player nears the end of his career it should go down as their value starts to decline.
I don't think the fact that the players agreed to the salaries is lost when someone says a player deserves more. In fact, it's central to the entire argument. It creates the argument. Yes, players accept offers from teams, but it's naive to think that player salaries are a true representation of their worth. They aren't, especially in MLS. Salaries are suppressed to a level unlike any other pro American sport. Essentially, every single player in MLS deserves more than they make, save for maybe ten or twelve individuals. Edit: I should not say every other pro American sport, because that's untrue. Compared to the major leagues, however, the disparity is incredible.
Because its true. The reason Ramiro had to sell his his house was because he couldn't afford to live there anymore. Basically, he didn't make enough during his 18 year pro carer. How can you play a professional game for almost 20 years and not be able to buy a home? Same goes for Wondo , one of the leagues all time leading scorers. He is worth more than an unknown rookie and especially deserves a salary equal to a European player who never did anything in this league....... Exactly and players don't agree to it, they have no choice but to sign. If Hyka , Flo and all these other no name foreigner no one ever heard of are getting $500k if not more, Salinas deserves at least 1/2 of what they get.Of course he deserves more!
Just because the 2 of you say they deserve more does not equate to actually deserving more. You are stating an opinion as fact.
