Yes, that was a great '50 WC match.
Ademir, who ended up as the top scorer of the tournament, scored four.

Brazil's national team first game ever was played against Exeter City on 21/07/1914.

Brazil won 2-0, goals by Osvaldo Gomes and Osman.

1994-2005 was such a great time to be a fan, we'd just won 2 out of the last 3 WCs / 3 Copas and 2 confeds and with the advent of "quarteto magico" our confidence was at an all time high. I can't believe it's been 10 years.

What if man.... Adriano and Ronaldinho in good form to add experience, and if Melo wasn't a nutjob...

    ------------------Diego Alves
    -Danilo-----TS----------DL/Miranda--Filipe/Marcelo
    ---------------Melo-----Luis Gustavo
    --------Lucas-------------------Ronaldinho
    ---------------Adriano-----Neymar

It would be interesting, no doubt. Makes me rage even more about those three players behaviour.

2010 and 2014 are the ones that they really hurt us on. If they were still in decent form and didn't decline like they did, they would be good to "compor o elenco." Maybe Adriano would still start due to lack of effective forwards.

That looks like a magic box formation, don't know if it would work. Ronaldinho was better suited closer to goal.

I'd stick R10 in the hole behind Adriano and put Neymar out wide. I'd have concerns about marking with this team though.

On 2 April 1980, Brazil's nat'l team (with Zico, Falcão, Sócrates) beat a Brazilian Youth national team 7-1:

Friends, I think there are evils that come to good. I think that because after the Cup loss in 1950 (an almost insurmountable trauma) we won five World Cups. This trauma was replaced by another: 7 x1 last Cup. Maybe this defeat is the fuel that we need to win five more World Cups in the next 50 years. I hope I'm right.

So we win 11 games in a row, and that makes Brazil the only team from the 2014 World Cup to win all its post-Cup games. Italy, England, Uruguay, and Belgium are all unbeaten, but they've had draws.
