Despite hurting the 49ers' chance at the #1 overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, at least the win assures that 2016 won't be the worst season in team history record-wise but (assuming that the team loses next week) only among the worst four such seasons (along with 1978, 1979 and 2004).

Next up: the home/season finale against the Seattle Seahawks.
