Heartbreak city, population: Everton. Martinez is probably going to get sacked, wonder what that'll mean for the future for Besic.
The penalty obviously sticks out but they had a lot of momentum after the own goal and they couldn't capitalize. Cleverley in particular.
He needed around 30 mins to get used to that RB position. After that he was good. Better understanding with Stones, good tackles and dribbles. As a matter of fact the two of them did exactly the same amount of dribbles as the rest of the squad....which is a shame, they shouldn't be the ones who have to do that. I'm happy with his performance (altough I know that for the first goal he's hugely to blame, he didn't keep up with Martial), I know he played only around 10 games in RB in Hungary. That's nothing.
Subbed in HT, seemed to me as it was discussed before the match as Hibbert came in: last season for him, played only in Everton for his lifetime. Besic played well ( not outstanding but not a single finished attack on his side).
Everton lost 3-1 to Leicester City. Martinez seems to be a goner, fans calling this one of their worsts squads in recent history.
He is gone. Will be interesting who they go after. According to the odds: Hughes, Koeman, Pellegrini, De Boer, O'Neill. From that bunch I would say Koeman is the best. He's done a great job at Saints.
Dont think he is a De Boer type of player. I dont know, maybe some of the Dutch lads here know him better him me @Keno @Adi Sarajlija
De Boer would be a perfect signing for everton best they could hope for imo, has a great style aswell slow build up and early pressing. Likes intelligent players who can pass the ball quick and switch positions to open up plays, has a great vision for talent aswell, if anyone can manage Besic correctly it's him. Mo would be used a lot more under De Boer than Martinez that's for certain, considering he likes to use young talented players.
Benítez rumored as well. http://m.bbc.com/sport/football/36282767 Personally, after reading that article, I hope he stays with Newcastle and brings them back from championship, then unto a trophy. Would be awesome to watch. He got so much shit at Chelsea and real Madrid.
Frank de Boer would be a good choice. In 5 years 24 youngsters made their debut in the league. I think he would give Mo a good shot for the starting spot and he likes a midfielder with agressive style and good technique.
Speculations about who could be leaving Everton this summer. Says Besic perhaps. http://royalbluemersey.sbnation.com...ss-exodus-waiting-to-happen-everton-transfers
If Besic were to leave i think he would want to stay in the EPL since he's grown to it,or a return to the Bundesliga wouldn't be bad.
