best thread everrrr! 4 r's you know it's legit. --- He's come a long way since his time in Hamburg, he's matured tremendously and it shows both on and off the pitch, I'm confident he's going to be very influential to Everton this season, i reckon he's going to have a somewhat slow start in the beginning maybe being subbed in a few games but thats to be expected at a new club. I hope he becomes a regular starter before winter transfers, knowing his work rate and great ball control it could come even sooner. Def cant wait to play with Everton in FIFA this year.
Love the signing. Everything about it is perfect. They could sneak top 5 if the squad stays relatively healthy. Top 3 out of reach. 4th and 5th arent reaches what so ever. Liverpool lost a large chunk of their production selling Suarez. Arsenal still have depth issues and especially in the defense department. Martinez is a smart man. He'll figure it out.
Heres my bet anti. If United finish anywhere lower than 5th place Ill have Sudzuka give my account a permanent red card. So essentially Im betting my account.
Never liked United but with Van Gaal and the additions theyre looking to make and the fact that they only have to focus on the league and domestic cups I know theyll finish high this year
assuming i do want you to get banned to take this bet. but seriously, no bets. with a new system, new players, i think everton will still be better. arsenal will get their fourth, everton 3rd, chelsea second? city win it again. liverpool fall out due to complteely new system in cl play as well. realistically i want 1. city 2. chelsea 3. everton 4. arsenal 5. utd 6. spurs 7. liverpool what i want 1. everton 2. city 3. chelsea 4. arsenal 5. spurs whatever after
outside of chelsea city and spurs, it could happen, but everton are stronger with martinez me thinks. utd do have it going where they are only in the pl mindset to finish as high as possible. so who knows. utd in 4th isn't out of the realm, but i think everton are good enough to be there as well.
Everton subs (to play FC Porto): Robles, Distin, McCarthy, Besic, Stones, Kennedy, Lundstram, Duffy, McAleny, Browning, Hope, Long.— Everton (@Everton) August 3, 2014
Everton @Everton 1m 79. Besic's superb 50 yard cross-field ball sets Mcgeady down the right. His step-over beats the full-back but his left-foot shot is high.
@everton: We're about to get underway here - and Mo Besic is on, in place of Ross Barkley, to make his Everton debut. Welcome to Goodison! #ossie @everton: 46. Besic wastes no time in showing off his silky skills, producing some neat trickery to evade two Porto men in midfield. #efc #ossie @everton: 49. A thunderous volley from Besic on the touchline ensures he wins an Everton throw-in, aiming his clearance at an oncoming Porto man. @everton: 59. Besic endears himself to the Park End fans with a full-blooded and perfectly timed sliding challenge close to the byline. 1-1 @everton: 63. Besic catching the eye but otherwise, Porto are turning the screw a little here during a period of consistent pressure. #efc #coyb 1-1. @everton: 79. Besic's superb 50 yard cross-field ball sets Mcgeady down the right. His step-over beats the full-back but his left-foot shot is high.
Haven't seen the ball much, but neither has Everton this half. Shown some nice flair, but his tackle couldn't prevent Porto's goal. Lopetegui' s Porto have outplayed Everton so far.
@everton: FT: 1-1. Naisy's 1st half goal levelled in the 2nd half by Jackson. Besic gets his 1st run-out and impresses. Today's all about Ossie though Fans are in love with him already
@everton: RM: "I thought Besic looked like someone who had played here for years. That's what I saw at the World Cup - someone who is never fazed."
When I say Everton fans love him already I fncking mean it. Holy shit theyre going crazy on twitter over him.
Ive always enjoyed English people because I think theyre hilarious. Here they are making me look correct
