I'm not happy because in my eyes it was a 3 -2 loss, and we settled for the tie..

to be fair, you always suck. you played the exact same way you always play, scared with too many players in your own third.

the only difference is that this time mexico capitalized on their opportunities.

Sangre, #10s don't have to be fast, they just require passing skills and intelligence.

Israel and Jonny were our best defenders today.

Someone in the other thread said Memo was disappointing. It pains me a ton to say it, but I have to agree.

lol more like third...anyways like i was saying before i found out the thread was closed. Im not trying to make excuses just my opinion i feel like nery and guardado were greatly missed mainly guardado. After seeing vela play and pardo i can tell all four of these players combine will be a nightmare for the opposing defenses.

De Nigris played a very good game. There's no reason to want him out of the NT because he didn't score tonight. He hustled the whole time he was in there and made a few good plays.

Think about it this way: Do you guys really think that Borgetti, Kikin, or Franco would have done better than De Nigirs?

    Hell no!

I guess before we, (me included), bash each of our players and managers, we need to remeber that our oppenets is a tough opponant at home, no matter who they play. As a whole we played ok, hopefully we build from this game. :)

I am proud that we executed well in our set pieces.

We will face teams that will put 7-9 players behind the ball and one way to get them to hatch from their shell is to score on set pieces.

Once the WCQ start for us, rest assure that we will face teams that will bunker and I see set pieces as another tool to offset that. If you score, in WCQs where goal differential is so important, teams have to open and score.

To the guy hating on Bofo I dont know what you watched tonight. Bofo played like a true 10 controlling the tempo of the game.
