Having fulltime referees wouldn't be a good idea. All of the professional sports in the United States don't have them. In the offseason they're given jobs by sponsors like Budweiser.

It totally comes out of a comic book.

That guy looks like he is having the time of his life in Mexico.

    My theory..
The people down in Guadalajara are giving him much love because he looks like one of them. He's not the typical italian looking Argentino. Luduena is 100% cholo (south american definition). Even people on BigS are claiming him as mexican.

BTW. Did u notice the entire LaVolpe clan at the Tecos game. The TV camaras kept switching to one of his daughters during the Luduena goal. I wonder if he's hooking up?

he is still from argentina... and that is not what all Mexicans look like. Guadalajara... the town that praises its german ancestry with its polka (mariachi)

What ever happend this season, still wont take from the fact that Tecos is one of the most poorly mismanaged clubs in the MFL. Every time they face relegation, they acquire decent players and once they squeek by, they trade them or sell them. That is why I hate Tecos and that is why I hate club owners that do the BARE minimum to stay in the top flight. Cancha Caliente had an article about Tecos and their mediocre way. From crap that management has pulled to the type of players they have acquired and let go. Sooner or later, the mismanagement of funds will cost them to be relegated.

Ah this guy brings back memories of chiquilladas....

Every time the announcers call him that, I can't help but smile. :D

First off: The hair rules. Plain and simple.

I'm glad other people have noticed that Luduena seems like he's having so much fun out there.

Something that came up this week with the Libertadores moving into the knockout stages is how I keep telling people that the top two seeds, River Plate and Boca Juniors, are the two biggest deceptions.

If they hadn't sold ALL of their good players they'd dominate this tournament. You know River Plate (especially after losing 2-1 to LDU Quito last night) is sorry they got rid of Luduena.

I'm sure part of his fun is rubbing in the face of River Plate.

Rep as soon as it lets me again.

As a person searching for a team to truly root for, I was on the fence with Tecos. Opening my eyes like this, its sad to think they will ship of Luduena.

He has a contract right? So Tecos must have him for atleast x-amount of years.

have a beer next to me and get ready to hear a whistle at least
    every 45 seconds

Tecos has brought a lot of good players from Sudamerica. They brought el loco abreu and Navia. Did they also bring Palacios?

    Originally, no.

He first played in Mexico with Puebla (played one season), then went to Cruzeiro (Brazil) for a little while.

He then came to Tecos and played from 1998-2001, then returned for the 2002 Apertura.
