"Warriors Reach Agreement in Principle for Steve Kerr to Become Team’s Head Coach" (Wednesday, 5/14/14) -G
quite a family story...wow http://espn.go.com/new-york/nba/sto...warriors-steve-kerr-tough-enough-nba-coaching
Looks like the Kevin Love rumors are that the deal is all but dead. Could still just be public posturing though. An earlier rumor was that the Twolves wanted a draft pick so Klay would go to the Lakers for #7. I've said forever that Klay to the Lakers is just a matter of time anyway. Anyway, we'd project to have 9 more wins though if the basic deal looked like this: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=mkugqx2

Festus came back last night and in eleven minutes went 4 for 5, made both FT's, and had a block. Having him back to replace O'Neal as Bogut's backup is huuuge.
And even Ognjen Kuzmić is apparently a decent third center. For us long-time Golden State Warriors fans, it's absolutely surreal that the team now has even one good center, much less a corps of them. It's similar to how surreal it's been to us long-time San Francisco Giants fans to have strong starting pitching the last five years or so when for the longest time before that, the Giants had everything except strong starting pitching even in the best of years. -G
1-0. Even without an injured David Lee and with an ill Andrew Bogut, the Golden State Warriors still dethroned the Kings in Sacramento in the Season Opener. Next up: the Home Opener against the Los Angeles Lakers on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area HD on Saturday. -G
Good way to kick off the season. The key was Green with a double-double and Mo Speights with 16 off the bench helping to plug in the hole left by injured Lee. Big surprise was Livingston playing a few minutes, didn't do much but it's good to see he'll be back and contributing much sooner than anticipated. Also, don't know if it was solely because of Bogut being ill but Ezeli and Kuzmic got rotated in quite a bit. Hope it continues. I'm all for the three-headed monster center.
