Ugh, stop bumping Yallop, falvo. We get it, he's going to run on his resume for the rest of his life. After failing the Fresno USL team he's going to move to some other desperate USL team, then he'll fail and coach a small college team, then he'll fail and coach an NPSL team, then he'll be so old he'll finally stop coaching.
If you don’t like or if it bothers you that much, you are more than welcome to ingore or unwatch the thread.
Figured this belonged here.... I had heard Frank wasn't all that happy in Phoenix. When they went with Drogba the player /owner, he left the club. Nice to hear he has a stake in the Fresno squad. I also believe the current Quakes talked to him about doing something with this team but I don't think much came of it.

I will never attend a better game than the LA-Quakes playoff game. I have stated this before, but the atmosphere was literally electric in the second half and energy was amazing from the fans. We bought a signed ticket (all of the goal scores signed the ticket) from the game at one of the past Quakes functions (auction item). I will never sale it. I still get giddy thinking of the game.
I feel bad for any fan who didn't get to go to that game (or who, like my son, doesn't remember it though he was there). Sure, you can watch the video, but sound and images can't capture the feels. Never in my life -- not at a game or anywhere else -- have I felt the energy of that night -- a powerful collective force beamed at the team. Pure alchemy. The final pre-cup game against KC was good, but nowhere near the Galaxy level. And the cup game vs the Fire was a snoozer given what had come before.
Too bad it came about two weeks before St. Crispin's Day, because it could almost have been stated by Henry V: "From this day to the ending of the world, But we in it shall be remembered- We few, we happy few, we band of brothers"
Yes, the game against KC was very good and unfortunately is often overlooked because of the earlier playoff game. The final from an atmosphere perspective was a snoozer, but if Onstad doesn't stop the Razov PK, it may have gotten a little too exciting!
Chris Roner almost single handedly have the game to Chicago in 10 minute span with that own goal then the PK. Momentum was quickly shifting to the Fire, and thankfully the balloon popped with the pk save.
Yep, remember it well. He owes Ante Razov big time because Razov hit one of the worst PK’s in soccer history. Then IIRC DeRo and LD teamed up for an insurance goal.
