Yes, USA found that, much to their surprise, not all teams are Thailand. Seen vs real teams they don't look as much unbeatable, do they? Just our of curiosity: of course everyone else on this thread knows, but why you call US players "the nadettes"? What does this mean? Eh, eh, I wish. As I explained above, I don't think Italy can realistically win the whole thing. I expect them to advance today vs China, though, unless media gave them too much of a big head (but I hope they didn't listen).
I really really hope France can get their sht together for Friday's game. Hopefully they watched the US game yesterday and see how Spain was able to pressure them and give them a good fight
I wanna believe man. A deep run by the Italians would be great specially for Italian football which has been going through some dark times the last few years.
If I’m not mistaken, “Nad” is a shortened version of national team and “ette” is added to account for gender. That’s the story and we’re sticking to it.
Here’s the thing: if either of those teams advance l, I don’t see them having enough to win the entire thing. If FIFA pulls tricks and gets the US to the final, neither team has a prayer. That said, Japan and the Netherlands will be a fun match. I wish it were first on the schedule today.
Will you miss it? For some strange reasons (Italian National TV Channel's motivations are unfathomable) I'll have it on Italian TV just after Italy-China. So no frantic browsing for streaming feeds for me today!
It should be a great back and forth match. I don't think Japan has enough to beat the Dutch but maybe they'll get lucky and get a couple VAR decisions to go their way
No, i have my iPad and my boss is away from the office. It gets really busy around here after lunch and I know people will come to my desk for help, while I’m trying to watch footy.
One of the most technical and skillful sides to ever play the game vs Total Voetbol 2.0. I’m pumped for this matchup. Also, I just realized that this will be a revenge match of sorts for the Leeuwinnen. Japan beat them 4 years ago 2-1 in the quarterfinals. This has all the markings of a main event.
Stages of getting knocked out of the @FIFAWWC:Day 1: I don’t want to watch anymore & I hope everyone loses. Day 2: ok I’ll watch but I only want my friends to do well.Day 3: May the best team win.Day 4: I LOVE THIS GAMEDay 5+: How many days until 2023???@SoccerGrlProbs— Ali Riley (@RileyThree) June 23, 2019 These sentiments transcend gender.
China seems content with defending. I guess they are banking on the Italians tiring out. I don't think that will happen because Italy is possessed at this point. They want this match.
Unlucky bounce for Japan on that goal. This match is being played at a very high pace, wonder who is going to tire out first
I’ve been waiting for Yui Hasegawa to get her chance to play. Great that she scored the equalizer. She’s definitely full of potential. I was worried she was going to get benched the rest of the tournament after her meh performance against Argentina.
