Bump. We are 30th. We would have been top 20 if we drew Mexico, drew Brazil, and drew Ireland. Maybe the game against Wales will boost us up a few places, maybe even five with a big win and other teams dropping. You never know in football.
I wish Pape and our players would recognize the importance of friendlies. If you do well in the friendlies then you'll most likely play against a weak opponent in the play-offs if you happen to reach those. But if you perform like shit like we did against freaking Irelans and happen to come 2nd in your group then there's a high chance you'll have to face a side like Portugal again.
