You would have to avoid smoke bombs and flares though. Otherwise Kaval would threaten to have you arrested, lol!
Newbie question here. I am going to Avaya Stadium for the first time for the US/Honduras game on Friday. It's supposed to rain. What rows on the sideline seats are covered under the roof? Thanks in advance.
It all depends on the wind direction relative to where you are sitting. I am in row 14 on the pressbox side and have had the rain fall on me there. You could be on the top rows of the opposite side and have the rain come in from the back side as well.
USSF installed a couple large banners on alternating segments near the Avaya main entrance in anticipation of Friday's World Cup qualifier versus Honduras. A couple of these featuring Quakes player would not be bad in lieu of a stadium skin. What I liked: (1) it was not overkill; every panel is not covered in fabric; and (2) the panels do not extend to the rafters, thereby obscuring the architectural aspects of the steel structure. I would post a picture or two, but my mobile phone photos are too large to post on Big Soccer. Perhaps others will post following the game.
For the past few years, I've used a free app on my iphone/ipad called Simple Resize by tekunodo. Works great for exactly that. https://appsto.re/us/7HxIt.i
Wow... in recent years we've head a lot about "the 1%", but you are something even more rare: the .0001% We're well into 2017, the last year blackberry showed up as even a single line of pixels was 2014!
Bad luck with the weather. Right now it is somewhere between 50-70% chance of rain during game time. Hopefully people show up regardless due to the importance of the match, the price of the tickets, etc. SJ needs to come on strong for U.S. soccer. And hey, it's only rain, not snow.
What's with the red and white seats? Is Avaya replacing the blue mosaic pattern seats with something new? The opened end looks good with the added bleachers covering the bar section!
